Got a question about the RC-30. I'm wondering if I could use it for home studio recording, because I've heard that you can save recordings and transfer them to your computer. Using a loopstation as a home studio isn't exactly conventional, most people use a multitracker or audio interface, but I can't think of a reason why not to use the Boss RC-30. Is the sound quality not as good or something?

@1993Dyna Hi there! I wish I could help you but I've never used or owned an RC50 - the BOSS RC30 is the only loopstation I've ever used. I love it - I believe the 50 has more channels though, check out some reviews (:

the RC50 has 49 minutes recording time, mono only. RC30 has 3 hours, stereo. I believe the RC50 is a discontinued model.
