this is the type of gameplay blizzard meant to have in WoW. thus the name WORLD of warcraft. but that was before they introduced BG's and arena, and leaned more on the pve side of the game. There still are lots of servers though with players that love to world pvp and ambush this type of stuff

one addon I know is mik scrolling battle text. Its a pve addon though. But its adaptable to almost any class. It will alert most procs. FoF, brain freeze, hot streak, missile barrage, etc
