  • Really a great singer. It is really great great pleasure to listen to his songs.Today's singers should take a lesson from him on behavior fronts. His duets with female singers are too great.

  • @Kuldeepkaushiksmm , thanks for sharing your comments, memories and feelings. Some thirty after the playback singer, Mohammed Rafi uncle, passed away, millions of people around the globe still continue to enjoy the gems he gave so selflessly to the world and the humanity. All credit goes to Rafi sahib and those who created such beautiful lyrics for the incomparable playback voice. RIP, unforgettable Mohammed Rafi who will be remembered for many decades or even centuries to come.

  • What a handsome man Kabir Bedi was. Mohammed Rafi's magical voice in the back ground made Kabir Bedi more desirable and charming. I heard this song countless times. So captivating, so mesmerizing, so lovely.

Koi vaada nahi kiya lekin kyon tera intezaar rehta hai...

Great lyrics. Great voices of Rafi ji and Sharda. Kuch bhi kami nahi. Thanks spsyed for this romantic upload.

  • @missperfect2010ful , thanks for your comments and feedback. All credits go to Gulzar, and Rafi sahib who made any actor look good. That is why most actors insisted on having his playback voice.

  • @missperfect2010ful . you right miss, whenever i listen this song. give me a wonderful feeling and bring in fantacy world. you describe about this song very beautifully. nice regards from birmingham

  • True, very true.

  • rafi sahab is the Greatest singer of India.. Those who says Kishore, let them know that Rafi Sahab Had sung for Kishore too..

Rafi sahab ki barabari karna Kishore jaise 2 paise ke singers k bas ki baat nahi..

I love ur voice from the bottom of my heart Rafi sahab.

  • rafi sahab's voice is like moon light, which cover all the world with his charming light.... the same is rafi sahab he will be alive through his voice till the end of the earth....

  • Nice nostalgic song ......Kabir Bedi without his beard ;-)

  • Simi Agarwal reminds me of Anil Kapoors Daughter "sonam kapoor"

  • Simi Agarwal reminds me of Anil Kapoors Daughter "sonam kapoor"

  • Rafi sahab the great no one can compare and Kabir sahab looking dashing as hero

  • This song reminds me of my dad. He was so dear to me. Whenever I am in a depressing phase lost in his memories I always listen this song.

  • i am sure this tune was made for rafi and shankar jai kishin were the great musicians for all times

  • @Bilal3242 , thanks for your comments, Bilal. This and several thousand lyrics and musical score were created for the incomparable legendary singer Rafi sahib.

  • Rafi sab..Lata Jee Aasha Jee, KIshor Daa,,Mukesh sir..Noor Jahan..yeh awazen phr kahan ayen gi...

  • what can be said about the glory of sunshine and voice of Md. Rafi sahab, i think many comments below have beautifully expressed it so i wouldn't go any further, but yes one thing i wud like to say ... never saw kabir in that looks, he was really very handsum and explains why so many beautiful women of yesteryears fell for him, i think he was more handum than most of the hollywood actors of his times ...

  • WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT THIS VOICE CANNOT BE REPLACED . IT WILL TILL ETERNITY CHARM EVERY LISTENER.

THE VIDEO SHOWS SIMI GREWAL AND KABIR BEDI AND NOT RAKESH ROSHAN.

  • @TheNeil59 , thanks for your feedback and correct observation.

  • @spsyed Dear Sir I think TheNeil59 is mistaken. You put Rakesh Roshan in the stars of the film but not as stars in this video. Rakesh Roshan was also in the movie in other songs.

  • @missperfect2010ful , thanks for taking time to write your feedback. Video description E&OE amended.

  • @RealMusicKing.....i very well know who fathered me....but am sure u are the illegitimate son of a toilet cleaner as u talk shit and even full of it....u are such a filthy piece of shit that even ur father couldnt clean u up....

  • amazing voice can never be replace

  • There are few people who even when they are living, they seem dead as they have nothing to offer to life. They are just existing.

There are some others who are dead and after a while they are forgotten.

And there are a very few who are dead but they exist in everybody's heart for ever.

Its been 30 years since Rafisaheb left us. I thought that, with time, his death would become easier for me to cope with. Its the contrary. This man still lives very solidly in my heart. I miss him more and more.

  • In my opinion, the song itself is so expressive in all its aspects that one may become fall in love while listening this song :) :)

  • Legendary singer Muhammad Rafi's voice still entertains the millions around the world, the way & twist in his singing is unique. He was a born singer.

  • Thx a lot giving this info. u hv a good knowledge.

  • I wish we could see Rafi now also even I was born after his death...he was such a wonderfull singer.

  • I was at his grave on 31st July 2010 with several other fans of this great man. It was raining heavily and looked like the heavens were creating the same atmosphere which saw the biggest ever funeral procession in Mumbai 30 years ago. Everybody was drenched in the rain but wet with tears. Rafi saheb will always be with us

  • Rafi sahib passed away 30 years ago (30 July 1980), but his legend lives on as his voice still continues to entertain and amaze millions around the world. No one replace humble, modest and pious Rafi sahib who changed Indian film playback and music industry forever. He is a book on how to sing. His playback voice changed the fate of many Indian film actors and made them superstars of their time. I feel honoured to have met him, be his family's neighbour in London-UK. RIP Mohammed Rafi.

  • @spsyed So true. I was born 8 years after his death and I am a big fan as I am sure are countless others. His voice has left such a legacy that it continues to charm billions even after his death.

  • I think u r the luckiest person in the world who met with this angle. GR8.

  • I think u r the luckiest person in the world who met with this angle. GR8 nice to hear this. He is AMAR.

  • I think u r the luckiest person in the world who met with this angel. GR8 nice to hear this. He is AMAR. We all miss him.

  • Nice mesmerising song. Kabir Bedi and Simi Garewal look so young.

  • This was the last song of the duo, Shankar Jaikishan recorded in 1971. Right after this song, Jaikishan passed away. What a waste of a song filmed on Kabir Bedi and Simi. And was it necessary to have Sharda's bothersome humming in it?

  • @RealMusicKing how can u cal it waste dude???....even ur forefathers wont be able to connect to such music let alone creating it

  • @nathanael000 Since you have shown your ignorance to the fullest, here's my response to your "uncalled" comment. I know my forefathers very well. Now, do you know who fathered you? Was it the mail man? Was it the produce vendor? Was it the washman(dhobi)? No no no...wait a minute..it was the washman's DOG that drilled your mother when her hubby was at work. Hence the old saying "Dhobi ka Kutta, Na Ghar ka, Na Ghaat ka". In English "A washman's dog, cannot enter his house, nor his wash house".

  • wow song

  • this song originally is from film SEEMA,1955,BALRAJ,NUTAN, MUSIC BY SHANKAR JAI KISHAN,LYRICS BY GULZAR SAAB, and is been used in many films as background song like in AASPAAS 1982 AFTER RAF SAAB LEFT FOR HIS HEAVENLY ABODE

  • @nkavinash no that cannot be. Rafi's voice does not sound like the mid 1950s voice. this has to be recorded in early 70s. this is a 1971 Seema.

  • Oh yes!what memories this brings to me.!I can not listen to this enough no. of times, the legend,s voice and lyrics and sharda!I still miss that someone that brought this turning point in my life.thanks so much for putting this up.
