@DanGilmrtin well in the movie it's like everything started from this contest to becoming popular but yes the actor is older but anyway it's a good movie
@Blank858 not sure if he had any griptape on there. the black griptape they used to put on didn't cover the whole board, they'd just throw rectangle/sqaure pieces in the most used places. the board is also a figerglass instead of wood, so it might've had grip made into it w/o the need for some griptape strips
@xCelsius451x Dogtown & the Zboys. it's amazing and was created so that they could get enuf recognition to do a film, tho if you actually love skateboarding for the love of it you'll eventually love the doc more, but as the creator of this film (stacy peralta, an original zboy) said, the film was another avenue to show and express all the different things you couldn't get from the doc, however some radicals fail to see this and hate the film compared to the doc b/c it covers a lot for 1 film

yeah its a long lost art and only the zboys know how to truly skate this surf style to the core (since they created it off of watching the waves and of course larry bertlemann) its amazing, i set up a dogtown board in march and love it to death. only problem is finding small enuf trucks (trackers are too wide) that're good
@EmoLooking13 Because we skaters get some inspiration from the legendary z-boys. he has done tricks that no one has ever done that before like a crotch 360 and many more thats how we got amazed by this :D

@idku711 like its said ive read a book about Jay and his fellow friends he did try to attempt doing an arial manuver on a halfpipe and pools and skip engblom said 'he would be in a manuver trying to figure out how he can improve his move" he said something like that in my book btw im not an idiot einstein
