@1337BITBEAT thanks for your offer, however this project has been paused for now because I am working on something else. I was missing quite a lot of information regarding timing and rules with falling stacks. Sure I could glean some of that myself from playing the game but I didn't know how to calculate score and such.
What the aim will be is to allow a multiplayer system stable and fluent enough with enough modes to suit all types of players. We also aim for solid, fluid netplay, and not the garbage known as ZSNES netplay.
Thank you, I have no intention of cancelling development, and have a lot of interest in this project. There are bugs but the solutions are in sight, so soon I'll be polishing up endless and working on a VS/garbage system.
I was a big fan of these vids... is this canceled? I was SO looking foward to this!
I'm also trying to make a PDP clone. I'm using these vids as a guide. So far, I'm working on getting matches right. 3 panels work, but anything over doesn't.
You have made a nice work. If you have problems with the game mechanics you can see the game's tutorials to see clearly game mechanics in action. This is the best way. Plus, you must play more this game.

I know red outlined boxes mean player 2, blue for player 1, green meaning player 3 and yellow is played by player 4

Looking good... You say that you're working on a vs/garbage system, but will it include 3- and 4-player vs. matches? =)

Yes - in theory the engine supports unlimited players but I'm only designing the code for 4 players.

This is probably the furthest I've seen a clone go. Excellent job!

I am glad you find the videos helpful. Sadly, I have been unable to find more information on the game mechanics so I can't improve engine accuracy :(
