I think with HD you see a LOT more details than you used to. He seems like he looks older to me. But yet, with HD it's like putting a magnifying glass on imperfections so I would expect this. They probably want him to look a little more war torn as well. . . IMO.

Yeah man. I am planning on getting the "Collection" as well. Problem is I just can't afford it right now. They are freaking releasing TOO many good games all at the same time! JUST KIDDING, I wish we always had this problem. Uncharted 2, left for dead 2, assassin's creed 2, darksiders, dante's inferno, army of two 40th day, Final Fantasy XIII, FFXIII Versus, Max payne 3, etc, etc. I'm broke man!

I am not an expert, but I can give you my opinion. . .

I would have to say that the graphics in Uncharted 2 are the best out on the PS3 right now. The graphics in God of War III are jaw dropping but not quite as much as Uncharted 2's graphics are. But you have to consider something. . . Uncharted 2's graphic have a more lavish background. It is a brighter, more colorful, and vivid background. This draws your eyes more and makes you WANT to look at all the amazing details all the more. (Cont.)

But God of War III deals with ruin, grey temples, and the like. There are parts that are very bright, but for the most part the colorset used in God of War III has much more grey than that of Uncharted 2. So the game designers are going for two totally different looks. You have to appreciate them both for what they are meant to be.

Also, you have to compare the engines that the game use/run off of. How is the motion and graphics rendered, etc. For some reason Uncharted 2's engine is just

AWESOME and everything just seem to click. That's why I would have to side with Uncharted 2. Having said this I believe that God of War III will be one of the best looking PS3 titles thus far/maybe until next gen, especially when the later scenes/stages are revealed whereby there will be whiter, more brighter area's like when you get to Zeus. I think Uncharted 2 would take the crown, but God of War III will make mince meat out of most other PS3 titles in the graphics department as well...IMO.
