Can you do picture in picture in I Life 06. Also can you do Multiple videos in 06. I am a multi-instrumentalist and I want to play the guitar in one video, play bass in another, then drums and so on to make a one-man band. Also is it easier to sync video with audio than in IMovie 11. I find it very difficult to do in 11. I ordered a used ILife 06 for my 2011 IMac. Thanks scootergreen3

@scootergreen3 No there is only one video track so you can't do picture in picture and only two video tracks. I recommend finding a used copy of Final Cut Express or diving into Final Cut Pro X if you want to do multi-track audio or video.
Or Get Adobe Premier Elements for around $100 which supports multi-track video and audio too.

Hi, I have a 2011 Imac with Imove 11. I find IMovie 11 un-usable so I ordered a used ILife 06 disk. I have heard that it is easier and more enjoyable to use. The Apple techs said it will work on Snow Lepherd 10.6.8. They said it shouldn't erase my Garageband 2011 or songs I made on it. She said It shouldn't but it Could. I hope it doesn't erase my songs I made on my Garageband 2011.Do you think it will. I know it sounds crazy to put 06 on 11 but I find IMovie 11 impossible to use. scootergreen3

im pretty sure my imovie is the same one you have,
i am trying to make a video for youtube and all i want is one picture for the whole time a song is playing.
is there any way to do that?
