are they new rods or have i just not noticed them in previous vids.

    :)

  • @KrazyCarper They weren't my rods mate, I had leant them from a friend to get a feel for the Free Sprit range, as I may be changing over to them very soon. I was wondering if anyone would notice ;) lol. Cheers mate

  • Top fishing some right crackers there, would you consider that as average baiting for your winter fishing ?.

  • @particlepete1 Cheers matey, I wouldn't like to say I consider that amount of bait as an average winter session but I don't really feel that we are truely experiencing winter conditions just yet. I like to feel my way into the session, and as I had 2 rods on the spot and had an early bite, i decided that with the conditions it was worth the chance. Whether I'd have caught more with less bait is debatable but in honesty I dont think it did any harm on this partiular session. hope that helps bud?

  • Well done Carl some nice looking fish in there winter colours . Are you still putting down big beds off bait or just on single hook baits?

  • @1970philc Cheers mate, they are looking gorgeous at this time of year aren't they! I think that anglers would normally be cutting their baiting down at this time of year, but I think with how mild the weather is that this isn't the case just yet. For example this particular session I used about 2kg of Solar's Chinese Take-away, 3kg mixed pellet, 3kg of hemp and about 3 pints of maggots.I was putting this in on a little and often basis throughout the session, even after darkness.keep em searchin
