C-spine control is awful, i have seen the patients neck move left to right and downwards several times, EMT is not reporting to the paramedic, is caught in the moment, paramedic should have total control and should be more prominent in this.
paramedic should be leading, EMT is causing more confusion, jumping from one examination to the other, remember it ABC'S always no matter how advanced you are. At the scene of something like this you do not shout that you have a patient with brain matter, especaially when the parent is alert and knows what is going on. As for theextrication of the cild and mum, the comands were awful, no communication at the head, the person thinks they have the head, i have the head, you have the head????
