@kunjhacky hi not sure about that one. I would try to switch it on with an adapter, perhaps you could try the boot in emergency mode just like I did in this video...

thanks it helped. though im not sure about the sd card. i removed it just like u said. when i put it back, it doesnt have anything within it. but the memory shows that there are actually files in it. do you have any suggestions about that? thanks again.

@chrismarkshva yes i sended it back to htc and they fixed it thay did a boardswap and now it works perfectly:)

That "emergency mode" is actually the HBoot -- the bootloader, some kind of BIOS. Please note that some devices may have it locked, therefore it's not accessible (such as the Desire S).

Also, I suggest you flash a custom ROM such as Cyanogen7, instead of sticking to the original HTC Sense ROM. You'll feel much better :) .

Oh, and... don't forget to update your radio, as well :) .

@chrismarkshva I'm a Desire owner myself, so I have little knowledge on how it's done for the Legend, but I doubt the process is very different.

The advantages? Well... I can't say that with a 300 character limit :P .

Most important : you're given more RAM, and it's a LOT faster

Updating the Radio is like "Update for Windows 7".. Hope that answers your question. If not -- it's just an update, which fixes a lot of things based on the... well... the base of the framework, lol.

@chrismarkshva Yup, you'll need to sit MORE than one ;) . Apparently the best ROM you can get on your Legend is Cyanogen (and you get rid of Sense -- hope that doesn't bother you, having in mind that the Sense interface eats more than half your RAM). Search how to S-OFF (if your HBoot isn't already), root, and flash. Then you'll be a true Android user :D

@chrismarkshva I reccomend you flashing CyanogenMod, since this is what I tried among others (MIUI, LeeDrOID, InsertCoin -- although I doubt every one of these three is available for the Legend as well).

BUT! Before you flash, Google search "how to install Cyanogen on HTC Legend wikipedia".

Don't flash Cyanogen 7.1.0, since it's experimental. Flash the 7.0.3 :) .
