  • wats wrong with the one at 1:38??

  • Dog at 1:38...The usual...a little kennel cough...booger snots.

Dog at 1:08 has severe demodetic mange. Is this the one you wanted to know about?

  • I adopted my bloodhound Daisy May from ILDR+ over 4 years ago, it's a great organization. May had a full blown case of kennel cough (and I was told by her foster mommy that she had never seen so much green snot come from one dog hehe) when she was rescued by ILDR+. Please take a chance on a rescue dog, they will love you back forever!!!

  • i own a dober man called zara and she was rescued because she had had her tail illegaly docked and now the bone sticks out of the end =[ i like it when they have floppy ears not sticky up ears

  • Yes it does seem to fit. Collie Rescue as I am sure Doberman Rescue is, just getting sooooo many dogs. With people losing their jobs and homes I just wanted a little help pulling at the hear strings! Thank you for all you do for Doberman Rescue God bless!

  • It showed that you where the one who put this together. I just want you to know I thought it was beautiful. I adopted my (Dutchess)from Doberman Rescue it will be a year ago this January. I was wondering if you did put this together if you would mind if I use the same song and did something similar for Collie Rescue I am the adoption coordinator for them.

Any way thank you for the beautiful video!

    I just LOVE THIS!

  • Of course...it's not my song...It's the from the Dixie Chicks...Lullaby. I have always liked that song and it just seemed to fit.

  • Our family has a doberman his name is Sarge (jack) We got him from illinois doberman rescue

  • We adopted our dog (Mabel, rat terrier) from Illinois Doberman Rescue+. She's the light of our life. Great organization.

  • I've been wanting a Doberman for years now and this video has just re-inforced this. God bless you all for all your hard work and true, unselfish love for your dogs. When the time is right I will be sure to come to you to find my "forever" Dob. God bless.

  • This made me cry. I love dogs!!!! Thank you for rescuing these

dogs. It just makes me sick that people don't take care of these

fine best buddies. Please keep on doing what you do the best, giving these guys a wonderful loving home. Thank you!!!!

  • IDR is great! This video made me cry. I have had Dobes for 20plus years, 2 which I rescued. Nothing more precious than a rescue dog!

  • Thank you so much for helping these magnificent Dobermans. My heart breaks to know there are sick people that don't treat these animals with respect & love.

Proud Doberman owner of 3 Dobies currently.

  • I applaud your work, and all those involved in doberman rescue. My dobe is also a rescue dog, such a wonderful friend.

GRACIAS!

  • awesome video, it's nice to know that someone out there cares about our Dobies -x-

  • The Illinois Doberman Rescue agency is phenomenal! They are devoted, knowledgeable, loving and outright gifted. I have had the great pleasure of adopting two of their Dobes: Lou and Frank. What an amazing breed! Intelligent, loving, loyal, playful, emotionally complex and physical dynamos! This video is a fitting tribute to both the volunteers and the amazing creatures they rescue, foster and find forever homes for. Thank-you!

  • Cute Dobers! All of my Dobes are rescues, too.

  • I love my IDR dobermans! Mona and Olivia are the best dogs I've ever had. To go home to their wagging nubbies and smiling dober faces is the cure for any bad day at work.

  • Wonderful video. We adopted a referral from IDR kallee, our littlest angel. When Kallee passed away we were gifted with Ginger aka Tori,a beautiful red sweetheart with a playful, cuddly heart. Rescued and shelter dogs make the best companions because they know they have a second chance and are very loving and grateful, and so are we. Thanks IDR, John and Louise

  • We have had two dobermans from Illinois Doberman Rescue, Nitro and Arrow. Nitro passed away in January of 2002 and Arrow just passed on October 3, 2007. They were great dogs, family members, and my best friends. The foster parents and volunteers at IDR are wonderful people and I look forward to a time soon that we can adopt again. You can't lose by adopting a forever friend from IDR!

  • Our Sadie came from IDR and found her forever home with us five years ago. An absolutely wonderful addition to our family. Words can not describe how special she is. Keep up the good work IDR.

  • My dog, Izzy, formally Lizzy, can from IDR. I think if you were going to adopt from anywhere this a great place. These dogs really need good and loving homes. I am greatful for such a wonderful and loving pet as, i am sure, they are greatful to everyone at IDR for helping them find a home.

  • My buddy, Taz, sat by me while I watched this awesome tribute. Taz came from IDR. My life changed when he became part of it. These folks are the best. Words don't do justice to how I feel about you folks.

  • This certainly brought a couple tears to my eyes.

From an owner of an amazing IDR Dober Boy...BLU!!!

  • Beautiful! I told myself i wasnt going to cry, oh well!

  • The song, "Lullaby," is from the Dixie Chicks album titled TAKING THE LONG WAY. It's fantastic. Great job with the montage! :)

  • The most touching video I've seen! I am so proud to be a volunteer with this organization.

  • Whats the name of the song playing in the video

  • Not much for the sappy music, but love the dobes. My red learned to suck in his stomach and 'fake' a starved look. He'll sit out in the sun on an 80 degree day and shiver because he wants to be let in. It takes a whole 2 minutes for him to get 'cold' out in the wild backyard, lol! Faker gets food every time. :P

  • And to think they have rescued over a thousand more like those. How wonderful!!

  • Very heart warming

  • What a beautiful video and wonderful dedication to all who give their love, time and efforts to find forever homes for all of our wonderful orphans. Unconditional love is the best gift given for having the opportunity to rescue these most beloved Dobermans. Glad to be volunteer to this wonderful organization and its people.

  • That first pic is just disgustingly cute.

  • Great job!! Beautiful pictures!! Wonderful songs...........From one Dober-Rescuer (HMDD) to another......Thanks for sharing and getting the word out about rescue. Kudos to you all!!!

  • Awsome! That was really beautiful. So proud to help out with such a great rescue!

  • Excellent Job! Loved it

  • Be sure to have some tissue ready. What a wonderful tribute to everyone involved with IDR+. I am proud to be a volunteer and adopter with you. Big hugs to you all.
