I just found out recently in america they call apple juice cider, and alchaholic cider HEAVY CIDER... even tho theirs one or two german infulances, by the selection of the music I'm guessing this is just apple juice NOT true cider :(
Simple: "Cider" - the stuff you get from pressed apples. "Apple Juice" - the pasteurized tasteless healthless weak thin stuff you get in a bottle at the supermarket. "Hard Cider" - the naturally fermented, incredibly tasty (and healthy) version of cider.
You can just set out a glass of fresh cider overnight for a tangy treat the next day, or set for 3 - 4 days for a slight "bite". Ferment carefully for the strong-as-wine natural hard cider.
Fantastic Video! Thanks for showing it. We made cider at a friend's house using an antique cider mill. Search for MerryGoRnd and you will be able to find my making cider video. Actually, as someone commented, I guess it's not really "cider"; it's apple juice! LOL I never thought of that. Whatever the name, it is delicious; the juice we made, that is.
BEEF. It's what's for dinner.

Theres a huge difference between our cider and juice. We also have hard cider.
It's all delicious. I'll explain the main differences when I am well rested and have researched some more.

Are they fermenting later? In anycase Cider is a fermented beverage traditionally speaking and what they are pressing is apple juice.
