@emilm Just because someone has a gun permit, he does not have the legal right to brandish it at will. What he did here was commit assault with a deadly weapon. And he wasn't even charged/fined for it.

@SHARKonlineorg Under what circumstances is he allowed to reveal it? I understand that he should not have touched the woman or the camera as you should have no expectation of privacy in public, however, the other man also touched him without being touched first, right? So could his brandish be considered as self defense?
Please don't take this the wrong way, I'm by no means trying to imply anything, I would just like to learn more about the situation and laws. I live in Europe.

@emilm You can only draw your weapon when you are defending yourself against imminent danger of grievous bodily harm/losing your life. Being pushed away after assaulting someone does not qualify for that, nor is it self-defense as he was the aggressive party who made the first attack.

pushing away a camera should not be assault. she should have had the sense to stay away from him, especially knowing there is a high probability of a loaded weapon in the car.
Pulling out a gun is a huge over-reaction, but honestly, following somebody that close, and that fast is guaranteed to get tempers flared. everybody in this video deserves charges for acting like an idiot.

It is assault under PA law.. He stepped up to her. And regardless if there's a 'high probability' of a loaded weapon in the car, he had absolutely no legal recourse to brandish it.

True, he had no legal recourse in brandishing it and he probably should have had heavier charges applied. While pushing away the camera is illegal under PA law, shooting birds as they are, IS legal under PA law. While you may not like what they are doing, breaking laws and being reckless isn't going to gain you any support.
