  • a mean..... take a check?

  • my dear sir, why are you seated in this way

  • car is in terrible condition

  • where is the freeking door LOL?

  • 0:17 cameraman: is the bumper leaking oil??

  • bad ass camaro ! what kind fan is that im looking for something similar for camaro.

  • oh n it sounds pretty good man i have a camaro almost exactly identical to yours

  • when will you all learn its not how a machine looks or sounds its how it runs

  • give it a door and a splash of paint and she will be looking nice

  • car looks bad ass..man.. wheels are awesome

  • That's sexy

  • nice work sounds reeeeaaal good is it a 350?

  • Is that the stock engine with somthin different on it.

  • @ crazy kid hahaha first gotta make it alive again then shell be all purty

  • Uhmm get out mustangs suck

  • Well its not the prettiest one on the streets, but who can really see it when your doing 120+ mph. Keep workin' on that beast! Then come and work on my 83, haha.

  • I would rather see a Camaro with a shitty paint job and nice motor than a Camaro with a spotless paint job and huge oversize rims.

  • he broke the dore off

  • funny thing is im sure this car would rape 99% of the nice shiny ones

  • Some people are just dumb and cant see your putting the money where it counts :P

  • hey man, I work in a muffler shop, and have an '88 firebird. I'm a little unsure about running the true duals on my car. Is there any way you could help me out with how you ran them.. if youd like you could message me to tell me. I also noticed you said "flowmaster knock off" by any chance are these the xlerator mufflers? If so we carry these, and I've been looking into the Xlerator VR single chamber race mufflers.

  • @GCSeeg09 if you look through my videos, i have one that has pictures of all the different systems i've built. these "knock offs" are summit brand.

  • If your gona put a beautiful engine into a camaro, dont put it into a P.O.S...?

  • @CrazyKidSmoker haha, keep smokin' CrazyKid :D

  • @CrazyKidSmoker its not a POS, it just needs paint, thats all

  • @CrazyKidSmoker

bet it beats your pos... he probably drives a mustang!

  • @CrazyKidSmoker the way you build a car right is you build it first then take it all apart and send it for paint and bodywork AFTER you made all the holes and patched them up

  • get a new paint job fat ass

  • get a new paint job u fucking retard

  • @LX5point0 i appreciate the positive comments! if you can't see this is a work in progress then you have no business around modded vehicles :D

  • what mufflers are in it? if any?

  • @freakystylecars1 those are a summit brand "welded chambered" muffler

  • what wide are those wheels in the back? like the backspacing,, i want some for my camaro but dont know the sizes i need,, and i like the ones you have

  • Wicked exhaust note my friend....

True all go car ha, let the ricers show an be laughed at

oh just a question, did you remove the air horn and what gains does it have??? And what does the double springs do in the return??? Cause i just swapped my tuned port for carb...

    Thanks

  • @arguello1990 the air horn was milled off a while ago on another car of mine. it was worth a bit of throttle responce. i know that it's industry standard to take it off in the performance world, so it's worth something. probably depends on the combo underneath it though.

the double return spring is there for nhra safety regs. must have dual return springs to race at any sanctioned track.

  • no door?

  • @AdorableKhory21 nope, that's how we roll in the dirty south!

lol, jk. this car was still in process of being built when the vid was taken. the car ended up getting scrapped and the drivetrain was moved over to the 89 RS in another vid i have on here. the 86 iroc had too much rust to be safe.

  • @mw66nova lol ok i see...i was worried there for a sec

  • What size tires are those?

  • perfect project car

  • Lol, sounds like.

Couldnt even clean up the oil spills first though? xD

  • ive got an 86 iroc z that im puttin a 500 horse 350 in i wanted a set of the flowmaster 10 series (now the race series) and i was told they wouldnt fit because of ground clearance issues so i decided to go with the flowmaster hushpower II's i havent had a chance to install any of it yet but will it still have an agressive sound with the headman shorty headers and dual hushpowers and 2 1/4 pipe or should i go ahead and go with the 2 1/2?

  • fucking love this video, when i saw the engine i jizzed in my pants. a fucking paint job dont make it go faster...that engine can haul.

  • what size tires and rims do you have in the back? they look amazing

  • Question i have a 89 IROC-Z with a 400 small block, and mild cam....what type of exhaust set up do u suggest?

im thinking about cutting off the cats as well....

like headers all the way back to mufflers....

my goal is to get the sound that you have.....its fuckin sick!

  • awesome

    keep going

  • is that blood spill or oil leaking? u murdered something thats for sure!

  • Question i had a 1991 z28 with 350 tuned port. I want to do a good loud exaust system like this. but should i use shorty headers due to space restraints?? will i get a good sound?? and how hard are they to install on the tpi engine

  • @danomaha420118 you will not have the same results as this. it depends on your fab skills really. i haven't used shorties in years though as they're a power restriction.

  • @mw66nova Question on the irocs can't you combineda long tube on the left i think and a shorrty on the right??? I know one side doesn't have a clearence issue.

  • i have a 91 z28 350 tuned port i wanna do headers but what are going to be the best fit for them???

  • @danomaha420118 Hooker p/n 2055. they're the best fitting, emissions legal, shorty header, w/ y-pipe combo on the market today.

if you want max performance, you can't touch what a longtube header will do with a shorty, but the shorties will give you better fit, less fab work, and better ground clearance.

  • listen to that intake suck!! :)

  • Was it coughing up oil? I couldnt tell put i thought I saw a puddle

  • do u have long tubes?

we get a view under the car i want to see how u did this i want to duals on my car

  • @v6firebirdv6 yes, there are longtubes on the car. if you look through some of my other vids, you'll see a video that has nothing but hotrod thirdgen f-body exhaust systems on it that i built. the dual setup in this video is listed in that other video with pictures.

  • Race it and show it

  • I had those same wheel son my old Trans Am lol, nice sound though =]

  • nice sound great

  • how close to the ground are the headers and pipes?

  • @Yearone2 they're paralel with the frame rails till after the transmission, then they're right under the floor board. i'd say we've got an easy 7" of clearance.

  • What muffler did you end up using? I've been looking at flowmaster 80 series crossflow mufflers or magnaflow either with a 3'' pipe. what ever your running sounds great!

  • a-fuckin-mazing

  • whats the comp ratio

  • Prolly should have spent some money on paint, sounds bad ass though, i can't wait to buy back my 89 rs. Looks just like it did the day i sold it.

  • paint dont make u go fast.

  • Good thing he switched to carb from TPI.. God, EFI sucks on car from the 80s...

  • What size pipes?I have shortys and want the true duals for my 84.

  • 2.5"

  • all go no show. thats how cars should be built. put the money where it counts.

  • @BLACKNAPKIN41

    Exactly. Thumbs up.

  • @BLACKNAPKIN41

    Not if it falls apart.

  • likin the rims and tires man.. sounds nice too.

  • what size tires and rims ,

  • what was the reason to go carb and switch from TPi

  • ease of tunability with the larger camshaft duration numbers. the camshaft is in the upper 22x, lower 23x range and we don't have the equipment to do the tuning for that kind of camshaft with tpi.

  • oh.. nice. do you think performance wise its better? i have been thinking about putting a carb on mine. but just haven't got enough info to see if its worth it.

  • man ur car looks like shit...but sounds sweet!

  • Nice ride!!! awesome engine, you should a better camera so that we can enjoy how it really sounds!

  • hey man i got a 92 rs camaro and im wanting to run true duals to, but how did u do it cuz i thought you couldnt run true duals on these year camaros, cuz the cross member underneath is in the way

  • depends on your fab skills. if you're an auto, i suggest coming up with a way to fab the crossmember in such a way that the pipes can go under it without sacrificing ground clearance. my personal car has 3" pipes under the crossmember with no sacrifice to ground clearance, and that car is lowered. in the case of the car above, it's a t5 car, and there was enough room to go over the crossmember on each side of the transmission tailhousing. a mod'd crossmember would work in this case as well.

  • @2002MustangV6 i did on my 91 camaro rs, how i did it was i just had the exhaust run on the edger of the car and come out right befor the rear tires, i wouldnt do it that way tho, driver side scraps everywhere!

  • soooo you're pretty much running lake pipes on you're 91 no?

  • @8137272424 pretty much. just got the exhaust redone on it, went into a y pipe split out the back with flowmaster supper 44s, i bottom out and broke 2 hearder bolts off in the head so yea...

  • Holy SHIT

  • nice car man!!! you influenced me to get a x pipe on my 89 iroc. quick question though, did you have a small gap between the head and the header on the driver side wiht those hedman LT cuz i did and i dont know how to fix it. thanks.

  • those headers have a clearance problem right around the a-arm perch on the k-member. there is a small section that needs to be trimmed, otherwise you'll have fitment issues at the cylinder head. look under the car with the header bolted to the engine and you'll see what i'm talking about.

  • ok ok, by buddy jason and i both have camaros, third gen. i have a 87 camro, converted from a v6 to a 358 40 bored over, holley carb (dont like) (its simple) he just has an 87 iroc with a 350 (crate motor), bothe automatics, with 1,2,D, over. D,R,P, he likes to be in drive, about 35 drop it into 2, and romp on it, granted he hauls ass cause of the low passin gear or w/e but can he fuck his trans. up with that?

  • sweet door

  • i have a 90 RS. i need the dash pad, not a cover, the origonal pad, does anyone know if and where i can find a good one, no cracks at all for under a 100 bucks

  • they are getting harder and harder to find. 5 years ago, the going rate was $100 for one in good shape. the going rate now is about $150-200...i got lucky when i found the one that's in my car now. i found it at a local yard and the guy didn't know that they were a high dollar item, so i got mine for $15. it was flawless till about a year ago and the thing cracked in four different places...because of the cost of a new one, i've decided a dashmat will work just fine...

  • hey, i was wonderingif you could give me some info on the stuff he has in his maro. im looking for some h.p. for my 86 IROC but im not rele sure of what i hould put in

  • fuck i cant wait till i buy my 1986 chevrolet camaro 350v8 rebuilt engine new headers w/4 barrel carb, edelbrock high rise intake painted flat black

  • daaang sounds really good what kind of engine you got in that beast

  • sounds great!!!like everyone else here would love to see some pics or vid on how you ran that exhaust......

  • Alright. Where did u get ur x pipe? I got a 86 z28 thats built pretty good and i got some hedman logtubes of it but i cant find anyone to make me an exhaust. Exhaust is the only thing i dont do and im kinda stuck.

  • the x-pipe "kit" was bought through summit racin equipment. it's just a 2.5" universal x-pipe. the actual exhaust i built laying on the ground under the car for a few hours.

  • This sounds absolutely beautiful bro can you send me an email with pics on how you did the true dual system and parts that are needed? I'm trying to run true duals on my camaro.

  • sounds good, take a new video when it gots some fresh paint, good luck!

  • did you have any clearance issues with your x pipe and what x pipe did you use? i was looking at a universal jegs but a lot of people say clearance will be an issue.

  • i got a 1986 Camaro. Its great

  • 2 words FUCKIN SICK

  • see irocz-1.mpg and irocz-2,3,4.mpgand feast your eyes and your ears.

  • thats just sick as hell bro! great work, sounds like rice killer should. peace trigger

  • i think you're ready to go to war soldier.

  • So this would be a 305 correct? I'm assuming so because I see you said that it has an L98 head swap...unless I'm wrong in some way.

Anyway, it sounds great. I'm looking at getting an IROC as my next project car. Just finished my '80 5.0 and I haven't done a Chevy in a while. Which would be the best year to get? A lot of people tell me '89.

  • no it is a 350 maybe a different block then a L98 but it is a 350 with a t-5 set up.

  • this car does have a 350 with a set of 083 heads (iron l98 heads). the 305 builds were in my white camaro.

  • Ay dog, im curious, how is it true dual if you have a x-pipe?

  • this has been debated long before your time...but it is a true dual system because the duals run the entire length of the system. having a crossover pipe makes the system better, why anyone would debate against that is beyond me because the dyno numbers and track ET's prove that an x-pipe will make FAR superior power over a system without a crossover of any sort.

  • If it crosses over its not 'true'.

True dual is when from header back it does not interface with the opposite side of the motor. V8's need a crossover cause its not a equal balanced motor from thier firing orders, V6's do not need a cross over cause they are completely balanced.

So you are say a 5.0 mustang with a O/R H mid pipe is a true dual?

I think camaro's should just stay with thier shitty single inlet and dual outlet design they got goin

  • give me an email address to send you the pics to. though i'm not really certain why it's such a big deal that you're actually arguing with me on youtube. the car sounds good and the system looks great. one of the biggest hurdles with these car with longtubes and duals is the ground clearance issues. well, this system, the way i have it routed, looks amazing and has an enormous amount of clearance.

on a side note, who REALLY decides what is "true" anyhow?

  • can u send me some pics of that set up too so i can do that to my 85 iroc-z

  • can someone tell this dude he's a moron and should go back to playing his video games

  • hanratty450 you talk the talk but can you walk the walk. post a video of your so called pipes and them maybe you could talk some stuff, but other wise dont open your mouth

  • true duals is when one side of cylinders doesnt interfere with the other side of cylinders thru the exhaust.

    Sorry to argue with you.

  • Shut the fuck up kid. You don't know what the hell your talking about.

  • thows pipes ain't got shit on my pipes

  • well then post 'em up big man

  • Your pipes not might have shit on his pipes, but I doubt he even has a car in front of them. Lol.

  • bad freakin ass 86 iroc-z ftw

  • wow sounds really good

  • Coooool!!!
