Micky and Davy are so cute they way they keep saying 'psychedelic', 'outta site', 'super psychedelic'...it sounds so quaint now! I love their side burns and Davy's suspenders! They both try to take the attention off of themselves, Micky coughs self-consciously and says 'and I wanna know why these guys get all the girls', as if he and Davy didn't have women throwing themselves at them 24/7. Obviously I have watched this too many times!
To help pinpoint the specific date of this clip...Micky mentions they're in New York to do Johnny Carson's 'Tonight Show.' From the way he says it, it's not clear whether or not that's happened yet at the time of this clip, but the date of that show was June 16, 1969, give or take a day or two from there.
It's true they were both so polite and sweet, and not egotistical at all! They didn't have a 'do you know who I am?' attitude at all, and they were so enthusiastic...this is great!!!

It no longer exists, lost in a studio fire. The audio has floated around on cassette from a tv speaker recording, but that is it.
