I don't hate 4kids. It's just the anime's speaking english. The voices are either different, similar or better. The animation is the same. The infamous one piece changes. I don't even LIKE anime, and I know all about it. Jason Griffith has suprisingly got FAR BETTER at voicing in Unleashed.
he did, especially with the Werehog sonic. im really glad that SEGA gave him a chance to show how well he can voice act while still retaining some of the old voice. he didnt do too bad with Usopp, but like u said, 4kids dumbed down the anime.
The voices are fine, its just that people are biased because it is 4kids. I'm not an anime nerd, I HATE anime nerds, and I'm assuming that people that "know" enough about the edits 4kids do to shows, are probably anime nerds; because that'd mean they were watching it in japanese in the 1st place.
The voices are fine, I can understand if people are angry with edits. HOWEVER, the anime the pick up wasn't all that violent in the 1st place. All they did was make it MORE non-violent.

You need to practice more for voice cast cause you're worse than 4Kids, you need to find friends that will help you cast them and practice long and hard cause you'll need it if u wanna beat the crappy 4kids! Btw, whenever u make a video, make sure you are 100% by yourself so u won't have no more distractions, that's what I do, so no more embarrassment, other ppl here would laugh at u, so take my advice and you'll do good!
Protestin' against a voice cast doesn't do Sonic any justice. If ye wanna 'save' Sonic so much, then make a petition about gameplay instead of voices. D:
Plus, come on, Griffith's voice isn't that bad. Sure, it's not as good as the original, but I'd say he does a damn good job of emulating the type of voice Sonic should have. Even if Sonic seems to be less "Sonic like" than he used to be because of Griffith's voice, I really think people are just making too big a deal out of it. Sonic has gone through a number of different voice actors in the past. I just learn not to get too attached, because this kind of stuff happens on average.
Sure, it sucks, I agree. They shouldn't have been lazy and just turned to 4Kids for all their needs. They should have searched harder for better voice actors. But the truth is, that kind of stuff can only be a cause if it has a direct effect. And the only character I can possibly think of whose personality was changed rather dramatically along with his voice is Knuckles. But that's because they had to fit his profile along with the dub itself.
It would make SO MUCH more sense why sonic would be running away from her at every chance he got if she had a deep male sick fuck work the 4th on Halsey kind of voice.
4kids did a bad job of voice actor selection for sonic X which only started the series taking a shit on itself.
Sega then started to include RPG elements into the series when rpg was and never will be a good factor for sonic, Sonic for 360 wasn't any better.
When sonic runs he shouldn't have feet, they should be the red blurs...all I can say is graphic wise to fix something like that is cell shading animation.
But those are just the voices. In order for it to jump start anything it would have to have a direct effect on it. The voices would in turn need to effect the gameplay and storylines in the future. This kind of shit just happens. Voices get changed, less desirable people come forth to dub, contracts expire, etc. It's just business. On average, voice actors careers don't really last that long, and voice actors like the man who does Mario's voice are a rarity indeed.
Well this guy does gotta point, but it's pretty funny too. Advice dude whose ranting about it, just let it go man, just let things go. You know when somethings good on television it dies. . .nothing much on TV anymore, just a bunch of crappy reality shows. Just watch something else on tv, if not, you always got the internet to watch your old favorite shows.........
It's adjusted for little kids who does not give a shit about voice acting/editing etc. People making these rants are at least 15 plus, which means the products 4Kids have isn't aimed for you. If you don't like it, just don't watch it. You can always watch the original Japanese versions with subs or something.

it's odd you complain about their voice swhen you sound like a lazy drunk biker and you're not even acting and the little bit of comical acting you ARE doing is terrible as it's not really funny. I'm not trying to be an enemy or insult you becuase honsetly I don't mind your voice, thus I don't have any problems with 4kids. Just saying, you're vocie quality is no better than their's and their's isnt bad, so if I were as picky as the haters, I'd hate your voice too. Just saying, be nice, grow up.

I know it's a parody of someone else's rant but it doesn't seem like it I'm saying. What I'm saying is no one's every madee fun of the other point of view. Like ppl either make fun of the new voices or parodies of making fun of them which seems more like a copy than a parody but never supporting their point of view, so half of the ppl are shunned.
and it's not that suprising when 1: it's not obvious, or 2: every points out that it IS obvious. XP

he did, especially with the Werehog sonic. im really glad that SEGA gave him a chance to show how well he can voice act while still retaining some of the old voice. he didnt do too bad with Usopp, but like u said, 4kids dumbed down the anime.

The voices are fine, its just that people are biased because it is 4kids. I'm not an anime nerd, I HATE anime nerds, and I'm assuming that people that "know" enough about the edits 4kids do to shows, are probably anime nerds; because that'd mean they were watching it in japanese in the 1st place.
The voices are fine, I can understand if people are angry with edits. HOWEVER, the anime the pick up wasn't all that violent in the 1st place. All they did was make it MORE non-violent.

You need to practice more for voice cast cause you're worse than 4Kids, you need to find friends that will help you cast them and practice long and hard cause you'll need it if u wanna beat the crappy 4kids! Btw, whenever u make a video, make sure you are 100% by yourself so u won't have no more distractions, that's what I do, so no more embarrassment, other ppl here would laugh at u, so take my advice and you'll do good!

Plus, come on, Griffith's voice isn't that bad. Sure, it's not as good as the original, but I'd say he does a damn good job of emulating the type of voice Sonic should have. Even if Sonic seems to be less "Sonic like" than he used to be because of Griffith's voice, I really think people are just making too big a deal out of it. Sonic has gone through a number of different voice actors in the past. I just learn not to get too attached, because this kind of stuff happens on average.

Sure, it sucks, I agree. They shouldn't have been lazy and just turned to 4Kids for all their needs. They should have searched harder for better voice actors. But the truth is, that kind of stuff can only be a cause if it has a direct effect. And the only character I can possibly think of whose personality was changed rather dramatically along with his voice is Knuckles. But that's because they had to fit his profile along with the dub itself.

4kids did a bad job of voice actor selection for sonic X which only started the series taking a shit on itself.
Sega then started to include RPG elements into the series when rpg was and never will be a good factor for sonic, Sonic for 360 wasn't any better.
When sonic runs he shouldn't have feet, they should be the red blurs...all I can say is graphic wise to fix something like that is cell shading animation.
Sega has a lot to redeem for this time.

But those are just the voices. In order for it to jump start anything it would have to have a direct effect on it. The voices would in turn need to effect the gameplay and storylines in the future. This kind of shit just happens. Voices get changed, less desirable people come forth to dub, contracts expire, etc. It's just business. On average, voice actors careers don't really last that long, and voice actors like the man who does Mario's voice are a rarity indeed.

It's adjusted for little kids who does not give a shit about voice acting/editing etc. People making these rants are at least 15 plus, which means the products 4Kids have isn't aimed for you. If you don't like it, just don't watch it. You can always watch the original Japanese versions with subs or something.
PS: I am not a 4Kids fan, I am just trying to make a damn fine point here.

Also, sure there's some kids who hates them. But remember how kids liked and still like Power Rangers? Crappy actors, B-Show, etc. Still, kids loved/love it. Shouldn't it be the same with Anime?
What makes Anime so special compared to other types of shows, that people are pissed the fuck off if an Anime have bad voice actors and editing, not if a non-drawn show has crappy actors/editing, etc?

I started not liking it when i was 8-9 and now im 12.
I'm not saying anime is special compared to other shows.
There are people who are obessed with anime, trust me i love it, so alot of people find it insulting when people ruin relationships (KishXIchigo is a good example, even though they never got together, there was a relationship near the end) and make the anime different.
I understand if 4kids wants to dub a anime, but they shouldn't move scenes around and do what they do to it

Truth. It was Sega that hired 4Kids and it's Sega that makes the worst Sonic games. Then again, pushing Sega to drop 4Kids first is much more realistic.
There's no way they'll figure out the more complicated solutions to their multifaceted gameplay issues before they figure out "Bring back old VAs."
