Something that isn't commented on much (as far as I've seen), probably because of the beautiful opera prior to it, is the field that Chell steps out into at the end. That is easily the most beautifully rendered field I've ever seen in any video game. Everyone's already praised the music more than I could hope to, but the visuals at the end seem to get overlooked.

I don't think it's "Ché la stimo": the last vowel is definitely an "a", so it can only be one of these:

1) "que la stima": Spanish out of nowhere?

2) "ché la stima": I think this expression doesn't blend in at all.

3) "che la stima": "who holds her in esteem": it works, but it means that Chell holds Glados in esteem, which doesn't seem quite the case

4) "ch'ella stima": "whom she holds in esteem". Glados holding Chell in esteem might be a hidden confession, I think this is the right one.

Some people believe that GLaDOS didn't actually delete Caroline, and that song is from GLaDOS to Chell. GLaDOS /is/ Caroline and the song is basically about a mother singing to a daughter. So it can be possible that Caroline is Chell's adopted mother. :1 It makes sense if you think about it..
