a decent and reliable bike these go for around 2 grand 04-07 models. the new gassers are around 3-4 grand. sherco do a little cheaper but the clutchs arent as good and they weigh a bit more. alot of other decent makes like beta and all them are fairely good too. ebays the best place to look for cheap bikes.

also there is a new one thats a bit cheaper new than all the other bikes its called a xispa and it comes in 50cc and 250cc i havent riden one but i hear they are pretty good.

the last 2 stroke montesa was in 2004 mate then it went onto the 4rt 4 stroke in 05

I've got a Montesa 315r (last two stroke montesa, year 2000) and its not good for going at more than 60 km/h (not even miles!) but its absolutely fun. Classic bikes are lovely too. There are competitions on pre 72 bikes and more, real real oldies.
