If you honestly believe that praying will yield results like this, then isn't it wildly hypocritical and selfish not to pray for world peace or the end of hunger or a cure for cancer? Is god so small that he can't solve the really hard problems and has to resort to petty magic tricks like helping you find a dollar in your couch cushions? Are you content with the ills of the world so long as you have money in your bank account?

People have broken the economy. People are going to have to fix it.
