  • Awwwh.. I would love one of these.. :'(

  • This sucks!

    Buy 64drive, it's better!

  • @eklipsegirl How so?

  • @stoneagegamer it is faster, the interface is much better, the compatibility is far better, it has a proper FlahRam support and multi-region support.

And does Krikzz update his multicart as often as marshallh does his one? Nope.

  • @eklipsegirl Maybe you should educate yourself more on the ED64 before commenting. ED64 has FlashRAM support (has had it since second firmware update), it has exact same compatibility as 64drive, multi-region support, and has had quite a few updates already. Interface is personal preference I guess, they both work, but one is more shiny. One important fact you forgot to mention. ED64 is much more affordable.

  • @stoneagegamer affordable? O RLY? yes, you can spare 20 bucks on Everdrive and it still is $180 because other than Deluxe edition it sucks.

  • @eklipsegirl Wow you can't get any facts right. Deluxe is $175. $25 cheaper and comes with more. Your fanboy(girl?)ism is shining through. How about you you go play your 64drive and stop trolling YouTube.

  • @stoneagegamer Not trying to offend anyone or anything, but the 64drive is better in terms of PCB quality as of the second revision. As far as I know, only the original testers for the 64drive had the first revision, and marshall ended up sending them the second revision.

The Deluxe ED64 does come with better packaging, and the 8GB SD card is nice, but looking pretty is nothing when it comes down to what really counts.

  • @CodyBrookhart KRIKzz just released a second revision of ED64 as well that fixes basically all of its short comings compared to the 64drive. I have nothing against 64drive. Marshall does good work and I am sure its a great product. As for board quality, I am unsure how that's true. It has more layers, sure, but that doesn't mean better quality. Maybe if you compare to ED64 early prototype boards that used nickel instead of gold, however the current boards are very good quality.

  • @CodyBrookhart You do not offend me. I just don't like 64drive fanboys (not saying you are one) coming on my channel and spouting false information.

I do agree with you. Sex-appeal is only a bonus, but there are more important things. I think with ED64 v2 coming out and some of the new firmware improvements that should be coming soon these will be two very comparable products in almost every aspect.

    Thank you for your post.

  • @stoneagegamer Hopefully he'll iron out the compatibility issues with 6103 when using a 6105 CIC, as this issue isn't there in the 64drive.

  • @CodyBrookhart Yeah from the sounds of it he think he's close to fixing it.

  • @stoneagegamer is this legal?, and where would you get the roms.

  • @S1RD4RKN4 We cannot provide you with any ROMs or information on where to get ROMs since they are copyrighted material.

  • @S1RD4RKN4 in a word, google. all the roms that exist ar extremely easy to obtain and that is an understatement.

  • hi, ive seen about this everdrive series, do you guys sell to eupean customers and do there exist a PAL everdrive for the genesis yet?.

  • @nicolaj0154 We do sell PAL ED64 version, but none in stock at this time. The EverDrive-MD is multi-region. There is no PAL version. Since it is multi-region it will work on NA-NTSC, JP-NTSC, and PAL.

  • @stoneagegamer ok, ive been wondering on if there would be made a ever driver series to the commodore computers like the amiga 500 and up, and also the commodore 64.

  • Can i play withe the everdrive 64 patched roms like mario 64 "the missing stars" or kaizo mario 64?

    btw you guys are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @74108520 It can only run what the N64 can run. If the N64 hardware cannot run it then it won't run. Most hacks were made for N64 emulators and not the system itself.

  • will this work on pal systems

  • @chris07081 There will be a PAL version out in the next month or so. Currently only NA-NTSC and JP-NTSC are supported.

  • @stoneagegamer thx man looking forward to it i am 10000% that i will buy it

  • Can you briefly explain how saving game data works? I'm definitely interested in purchasing one of these in the near future.

  • @NOOBEPICASSO they probably wont make one since this emulates nes

  • @ScReWaTtAcKeD He may do an NES some day, but NES flashcarts are not easy. RetroZone already makes a really good NES flashcart for a decent price so it would be hard to compete.

  • when is the everdrive for nes coming out?

  • Comment removed

  • Well think of it this way, you wont have to buy all those n64 cards ever again. I think its a good deal.

  • $174 dollars?!! Awww man..... It's kinda much,

  • @dogeymon83 This cart takes just as must work, if not more, as the SED Ultimate ($140), however board is a lot more expensive and SD card is a lot more expensive. The tech to make a N64 cart is more advanced and costs more money. You can always buy board only and do it yourself as well.

  • @stoneagegamer - Well can it please be an option to get it without the SD CARD?? I can provide my own SD card.

  • @dogeymon83 No. Listen, I can only make so many of these because there are only so many boards to go around. Its not like a have 500 of these carts sitting here. I have plenty of people that are willing to pay the base price ($174.99) for this item. The day that supply surpasses demand then your suggestions is something I may consider, but it offers me no advantage to start giving people discounts and ways to take money off if I can't even meet demand now.

  • Ahh-Freaking-Mazing!!!!! awesome cant wait to order one! stoneagegamer you RULE!!

  • OMG teh epicness BUT its ir region free?

  • proud to be first
