  • Everyone eventually has to look for a political solution.

    Everyone.

  • What's the constitutional position of Northern Ireland at present???

Yes, it's still an integral part of the United Kingdom. The IRA lost. Sorry girls.

  • British by birth , geordie by the grace of god , fuck the ira scum

  • I agree with everything Michael says %100

  • @ThePadraigdeburca Danny Dyer! LOL check out the armchair expert!

  • The j

  • I don't see how there can ever be a lasting peace in northern Ireland, the nationalist ones want a 'united Ireland' and the loyalists want to remain part of Great Britain. You can't really have a compromise between the two, either you are part of Great Britain or you are not.

If they agreed to have a smaller geographical area part of GB and more part of Eire the nationalists would still not be happy and it would serve only to aggravate the loyalists.

  • Well, the game's over for little McGuinness at least, by the looks of things, as his old "comrades" have marked his cards for his "treachery".

    The wolves devour each other!

  • michael u got the antrim job what more do u want......lol

  • reublicans in ireland deserve some respect, they fought for the rights of the catholics (if they did or good job of it or not, it's the intent they had)

but do you really think after the 3000 or so deaths during the Troubles the government and the government's bosses are really going to let an ex-terrorist become leader of their country or have a say in how it is ruled?

Actions speak louder than words, back in the troubles Thatcher would have listened better then than now.

  • this killer actually comes across very politically minded .up until he actually said he knows hes right.haha what a laugh murderers being allowed to be heads of educating my children and telling my family what is right and wrong where else would you get it.the families of the people he was involved in killing deserve peace with him locked up for LIFE. same as any murderer in NORTHERN IRELAND. He is talking of a fascist state one that wants to spread just like british empire once was.

  • CUNT!!!

  • great video> It really puts the power of "the move to dialogue" into perspective when he talks of teenagers being able to "chase girls " and generally get on with being young as opposed to running from bullets or using guns themselves. I remember the troubles well from Tv and study and there are a hell of a lot of different perspectives from those that have lived it and outsiders who have no "real-life" insight. We'll see a united Ireland in our time.

  • PIRA was right to surrender.

They couldn't win and they knew it.

  • Down to 56/108, You should probably start worrying.

    : )

  • lol you do know the british army admitted they couldnt beat the IRA so they HAD to look for a political solution?

  • No.

Adams & McGuinness had realised by the mid-80s that the British Government would go "on-and-on". But it took the two of them years to get the Neanderthals in PIRA to agree to talks.

Either way: NI is still part of the UK; PIRA in effect surrendered by handing in their weapons; and, joke-of-jokes, Adams & McGuinness are members of the British House of Commons - though they are too cry-baby and whiny-arsed to attend.

    Game's over, guys . . .

  • look it up the videos right here on youtube!

  • What weapons were handed in?, lol, what was shown on television was weapons from RUC stations and St patricks Barracks in Ballymena, the british held something from you's, for a change, but they would never admit it, what goes on behind clossed doors no one but those within those doors knows what was agreed, so, the war is far from over, you are out weighed 2 to 1 mo chara, willie Irvine (rip) had the right idea, his favourite protestant was Wolfe Tone

    tiocfaidh ar la

  • If no weapons, or not all, were handed in (as was claimed at the time) it only shows PIRA's disingenuousness and untrustworthiness.

Like infants: they're not clever and they're not funny.

    Just sad.

    And they lost, too . . .

    I repeat: game's over, guys.

  • carry on sleeping Terry, you might waken up one of these centuries. dont think for one moment that i support the documents which, Adams and Mc Guinness signed, in my eyes, and others ,they did not have the authority to do so, it goes against the Irish republican Army constitution.

Beidh ar la linn, mo chara

  • Terrorists with a "constitution"?

    Ha! You're a fucking dingbat!

  • game ain't over lad it will go on and on and on and on by political or military means that's they way the pattern has gone in Irish nationalism over the last id say 200 years,

  • @tsu921 If the British Amry used there proper tactics the IRA were screwed. The British were not allowed to shoot until they saw a weapon - The IRA feared the SAS when they used force. It was only for the Yellow card that the SAS and British Army coulndt use force. Typical IRA shoot and run. Get your facts right

  • @d63snowy eh thats what a gorilla army does hit and hide hit and hide, and it works thats what all gorilla armys do all over the world

  • look at the resources the british army have and of course the sas are a special forces up against a few fellas with armalites fighting for what they believe in. you can't compare the two. the british had armoured vehicles and lynx helicopters with better equipment and more resources. the ira had to fight hide and live in a really small area (norther ireland) compared to the likes of the taliban. they have a vast country to hide out in. the ira were very limited but done well with what they had.

  • @tsu921 the Brit Army were there to keep the peace and never declared War on the IRa. In fact it was the IRA who set to themselves up to defeat the Brit Army & they failed

  • @sirgouldie72 how they did not want to defeat them

  • @sirgouldie72 IRA didn't lose

  • @football2011eire If thats what you call a victory then you must come from a long line of losers

  • @sirgouldie72 the ira got you bastards out of the south of ireland in the early 1900s we could have a united ireland only the protestants with british ancestry don't consider themselves irish and are loyal to the queen we never lost

  • @football2011eire You won a bankrupted backwater dependant on handouts that we no longer wanted, which explains why we didnt bother sending our Army in and the loyalists prevented you from winning in the North which in my books counts as LOSING!

  • @sirgouldie72 the war ended because the good friday agreement we nearly killed thatcher but the slut got away we killed a member of the royal family tony blair said the ira couldn't be defeated and the brits admitted too michael collins got the british out of ireland but the north remained british because they have protestant majority

  • @football2011eire The War ended cos the IRA realised they couldnt win. what do you call nearly doing something again? Ah thats right its called Failing and i could of Murdered a member of the Royal family myself if i was that way inclined, so f**king what?Tony Blair is remembered as the most full of shit prime minster in living memory and that was probably sad to make the IRa feel better about losing and they should of respected the wishes of the majority instead of making cunts of themselves.

  • @sirgouldie72 When did the war end sir goudlie, crown forces had a lucky escape in Beal Feirste the other night when a landmine operation had to be aborted.

  • @TomBarry192I Oooooh an aborted landmine! LOLYou call that a War tut tut tut . I;ve seen crack dealers put up more of a fight on weekend than those IRa Gangsters have managed in a year and i dealt with that everyday in Iraq. Come back when you got real fighting men to talk about yer cowardly Ira loving sissy

  • @sirgouldie72 Its an act of resistance against the occupation and is hardly an isolated case

  • @TomBarry192I LOL didnt I tell you to come back when you have real fighting men to talk about? Like the way so its gone from a "War" to an "act of resistance". You might aswell go the whole hog and call it a bunch of hopeless arseholes pissing in the wind

  • @sirgouldie72 The British army are dealing with IED's in occupied Afghanistan and occupied Ireland on a regular basis now. Your so called United Kingdom is looking more of a joke that it is everyday

  • @TomBarry192I how any one that belongs to a country thats being failing to own the whole of a small island for 800 years now and cant even keep its part a float for a century without going bankrupted can dare call any other country a joke is beyond me.

  • @sirgouldie72 Britain who also have failed to own this island for 800 years weakened Ireland's economy by partitioning it. Britain was bankrupted and bailed out by the states which was only paid back in 2006.

  • @TomBarry192IOnly time your country was Governed by one Government was under British rule. Thats embrassing.

Rather than hate us for being strong you should hate yerselves for being weak underachievers.

  • @sirgouldie72 The Irish Republic of 1919 was governed by an Irish parliament (Dáil Éireann) elected by the people of Ireland and it issued a Declaration of Independence. The Irish Republic had its own parliament, its own courts, its own police force, its own military - the Irish Republican Army. British rule and the colonial administration collapsed all over Ireland during the Tan war.

  • @TomBarry192I Yes Yes we all know that was your finest moment and the British couldn't even be bothered to send there Army which is almost as em brassing as your inability to control the whole island

  • @sirgouldie72 They did send their army with regiments like the essex regiment. plus the auxillaries and black and tans were made up with world war veterans to try to keep hold of Ireland and their crumbling facsist empire.

  • @TomBarry192I We've had this conversation before.!Stop trying to salvage some Pride cos everyone knows yer never faced the Might of the British Army and begged for a treaty so yer didnt have to. Most amusing having an IRa supporting Irishman call us fascists. Remind me again who supported fascist Nazis during WW2 and who was a key element in defeating them my lil black pot?

  • @sirgouldie72 Lol Ireland was flooded with British troops during the war. You're in denial. What was 'Lord' John French doing in Ireland, on his hols? Irish republicans did absolutely nothing to support any Nazis during WW2. In fact the only IRA men to fight in Europe wen't fighting against the facsists in the Spanish civil war.

  • @TomBarry192 So what your saying is we flooded Ireland with troops and you fought and beat us then saved the world from fascists. LOL where you from Tír na nÓg ?

  • @sirgouldie72 I said Ireland was flooded with British troops during the tan war which was a fact. I said IRA men fought in spain against the facsists, another fact.

  • @TomBarry192I Its well documented that Britain couldnt be bothered unleashing its Army on your uprising and the IRa aided Nazi Germany. Embrasssing huh?

  • @sirgouldie72 Well it sent its army over to fight the IRA that is undisputed historical fact. Who was beaten at the battle of Balinalee alongside the RIC? The British army. Ireland had a national railway strike not to carry British soldiers or ammunition during 1920. The IRA did not aid nazi Germany in any way. Unlike your government who gave Hitler permission to invade peoples countries.

  • @TomBarry192I Nope it sent the Black and Tans over you silly bhoy and i suppose the IRa leadership fell out of their fishing boat and just happened to land on a U boat. . You really should pay attention to your History, i know its abit weak and embrassing compared to, well pretty much every other country in the world, but if you dont study it properly who will. Then again if i was reduced to hero worshipping men that put bombs were children shop i suppose I'd talk out of my arse aswell.

  • @sirgouldie72 Two Irishmen were on a U boat, one was getting a lift home from fighting Facsists in Spain (Frank Ryan) how the hell is that aiding the Nazis? lol. You hero worship cowards who fire bomb entire cities you hypocrite.

  • @TomBarry192I LOL your funny Lifts home on a U boat LOL You Irish hey such a source of amusement for us!

Ps pleae pay attention i'm taking apart supporters of the IRa and not cheer leading any form of violence unlike yourself

  • @sirgouldie72 IRA member Frank Ryan was fighting facsism in Europe and was jailed and escaped prison and made it back to Ireland aboard a German U boat. You couldn't take apart a couple of blocks of lego.

  • @TomBarry192I Fighting Fascism in a Nazi U boat. LOL I've heard it all now.

IRa supporters are alot easier than lego to take apart

You should Get a Life and do something constructive instead of talking complete shite about a Terrorist organisation that failed to deliver and hung out with Hitler

  • @sirgouldie72 No, fighting facsism in a civil war in Spain bonehead.

  • @TomBarry192I Stop it my sides are killing me.Hitching rides on U boats LOL you might as well have a neon red flashing dildo strapped to your head when you say that

  • @tsu921 in 2007 we pulled back our troops because there is no point on fighting a war with fucking washed up people who don't get who the BRITISH ARMY our!

  • @tsu921 You can never beat a guerilla-warfare army, that's why the USA lost in Vietnam, too.

  • i think his dead on get them English dopes off or land

  • I agree with a lot of the things that Culbert says, but here in S.Armagh there still is the feeling that the movement was sold out by Adams and co, and it left a very bitter taste in the mouths of many people here, especially the older generation and those who lost family members or friends. Still, Adams and McGuinness run the show and that won't change for a long time

  • im very close to RPG avenue, its changed so much in recent years and belfast has come a long way.

michael is right about the young ones today not understanding aspects the armed struggle, lets hope they never have to learn.

    peace for all is best.

  • ya it is for the best and peace will remain but there will be more of a push in the future, like he said, to achieve our united ireland
