Is it correct to put the guy's left hand behind the girls back before the right hand gets there? Or should they be simultaneous?

@DramaAngel726 - I agree! It is called that because when the guy switches hands behind the girls' back at the beginning of the move, it looks like he is stabbing her in the back. Who knew back stabbing could be so fun?!

@Wingtipshoes We have always called it the backstabber, although I have heard of it as called the Texas Tommy by others. With swing dance, there are so many different names for the same moves based on the type of swing or region of the country or world that you are in. But, that is one of the things that makes it hard to track down videos for finding new or even familiar dance moves...
