I think their lyrics are quite unusual and outstanding among HK Cantopop songs. They could easily be the Simon and Garfunkel of HK. They just need more songs with meaningful lyrics and great melodies. Most HK love songs are pretty boring and uninspiring. Shine songs are a breath of fresh air.
