I'm from Barrie, I try to make it to manituoulin and tobermory atleast once a year. You Can't even explain the beauty out there. greener grass, bluer water, cleaner air. Amazing! I'm blessed to be a Canadian!

@uboober I'm from Orillia and plan to retire to Lake Manitou. That place is heaven and we will be up there in 6 weeks.Bass fishing at Manitou at Hutchinson's Cabins. Very affordable cabin 8 inches from Manitou with a nice woodstove.

I certainly enjoyed watching your video. The first song is very haunting and memorable. I was born on Manitoulin Island in 1947 and lived there for twenty years. I still visit the Island quite often. I recognize so many of the photos in your video. It is still a wonderful place to live but nothing compares to growing up on the Island in the fifties and sixties. The Island was unique as were the people that lived there. So much has changed since then. Thanks for posting your supurb video.
