@medicvideo Too much alcohol destroys the liver, causing jaundice, a.k.a. a yellowing of the skin/eyes. It's because excessive alcohol breaks down the liver, which is basically what "cleans" your blood.

I guess you have no idea what metastasis are... They are a very bad sideeffect of a malignant tumor,meaning that the tumor cells of one organ have spread to another. I doubt that your sister was born with metastasis, more likely she had jaundice, which about sixty percent of the babies get in their first week and mostly goes away without any special treatment...

No, your sister would have been born with neonatal jaundice. its happens when a baby is born and their liver isnt quite mature yet they cant metabolise bilirubin ( a natural product in your blood) properly so it deposits in skin so babies look yellow. If you put them in UV light that helps them get rid of it then they're fine. Metastases are cancers that have come from an original tumour and spread else where.
