I'd be afarid he' catch his nails in the rug, I had a little bird that got caught like that in the carpet and panicked and died. I had had it for years, and just that one time, the nail got caught. Be careful! I play with mine on the table now. Not saying you are wrong, just I am a worry wart! ha ha, very cute.

My GCC is like that most of the time, except in the morning. He is extremely moody, is yours? The breeder said he came out of his egg like that. I have had him for 11 years, he was nice until my wife moved in. Any thoughts? Jeliousy?

Our conure does the same thing and we need to make sure that if we plan to pick up the keys he can't be near us, otherwise he bites our hands. No idea why all conures seem to hate keys, maybe it is the sound? Our bird sure loves bells though and they make the same noise. Birds are so quirky.

My Yellow sided GGC doesn't quite do that but taps and scrapes his beak along walls and containers, anything that makes a nice sound and he talks the whole time :)

My nanday loves to go after keys. He does not attack feet. He doesn't get angry at keys he just shakes them and makes a gargling noise. The one thing he does hate is baseball caps, because my grandfather swatted him once while wearing one.

Omg, mine makes the exact same noise that your's makes near 0:50! Maybe they all make that noise? Haha. Anyway, very cute! Mine attacks this spray bottle we have.. and he doesn't like paper towels very much either, lol.

Cute, but littleglamnatty is right. My cockatiel recently died from lead or zinc poisoning because he was always chewing on bird unsafe metals. He had extensive vet treatment, but the treatment could not fight toxicity.
