  • Tried these on my new Ariens Sno-Tec 24. The MAX clearance they provide is less than 1/8". Close to 1/16". They don't have a high enough profile to allow for adequate vertical adjustment, so IMO they aren't replacements for the stock skids. We have brick pavers which not flat like concrete. We need 1/8"+ of clearance. Hope we get our $ back. Once I mounted & tested they are "used". We bough the Ariens non-abrasives instead. Watch for my review to post soon.

  • What happens when the roller freezes up and is covered with ice?

  • Ok send me a set I would like to test them out for you.

  • The roller skids work great on my compact Ariens snow blower. They allow a great degree of maneuverability in close quarters. They allowed enough adjustment to get my scrapper bar to right height to clear the uneven surfaces and still close enough for good removal. They are well made of quality materials.

  • I did the same thing to my Ariens last year. I used short wide casters and clamped them on so that they were about 1/2" or less below the bottom of the skids.

  • What's the status of these? Are they available in stores?

  • Yea... Where can one get there hands on a pair of these Roller-Skids?

  • Hey where can i find that?
