This is one of the worst games that have ever existed. I played this up to the casino level and all the lights blending in with same-colored textures was causing my head and eyes to hurt and me to feel a loss of balance. It's one of the ugliest, flashiest games I've ever seen and the controls and camera only made the eyesore graphics and redundant gameplay even worse.

@JOS5190 Oh hell no, I think Riders is the continuation of that fall. Adventure 2 was in my opinion kind of borderline touchy but if it wasn't for the many problems Heroes featured I would've thought of it as an average game. Shadow plothole, weak plot at all, astoundingly retarded Chaotix quests, GOD, THE VOICE ACTORS HAVE GONE DOWNHILL, the questionable lyrics, Metal Sonic's anti-awesome return (Where has gone the metal hedgehog? I don't want no crappy cyber-dragon!), etc, etc...

@JOS5190 If you want me to be honest with you, if Heroes wasn't there or was done better, then yes I would have thought it would be the final game before the downfall of the hedgehog. You do have a point, Riders was a commercial gamble more than a real attempt at a fleshy game - it's the Mario Kart effect, and if it really debuted with Sonic Drift (which nobody cared of) and Sonic Shuffle (which was 100% unplayable), it got even worse there. AND THEY STILL MADE A SEQUEL. Ugh.

@SonikkuForever I never understood why people hated on this game. Sure, it wasn't one of the Adventure titles, but was still a pretty decent game. Only gripe I had about it is the identical level order for each team. That and the fact that the rails could be...difficult to land on at times.

@GreatFox42 The control issues really pissed me off on the PS2 version, but when I played the PC version with my 360 controller, it was like a different game. I liked it too.
