Oh I LOVE this theme much more than any of the others, it reminds me solely of David Tennant's Doctor, I hope they change it when he leaves! BUT I don't ever want him to leave!! I think he will stay on to do the 5th series because the only reason there isn't a full one now apperently is because of his RSC commitments so if he wasn't going to do another why not just quit at the end of series 4? :)

The problem with Tennant leaving though is that everytime the person playing the Doctor leaves, Doctor Who gets close to dieing. But of course we still have his "daughter" to live on the dream of Doctor Who when the original Doctor dies. I just hope they won't change the title to Doctor Who Jr. Gawd that would be terrible.

Personally i think that (and note that i am a doctor who geek who spends lots of his spare time around doctor who stuff) it would be cool if in the last episode of the last season that its again about daleks and davros kills the doctor but rose somehow sacrifices her lifer for him ( i really dont know how that would happen) and he lives and then kills davros and gets like a certain number more regenerations. that would be freaking awesome in my book, i wish david tennant would stay though!

oh you know that the doctor can never die, so long as the fans want more. The Doctor said it best in "Remembrance of the Daleks" that he's more than an ordinary timelord. Great heroes can never die.

The whole idea of having doctor who without the Doctor in it would be terrible. Of course they are just going to come up with a way that the Doctor Come have more regenerations. Either that or by the time the 13th doctor dies it will be years from now and time for the show to end.

Actually, the show will probably continue. There was originally supposed ot be only 10 doctors, but it was extended. I think that they will just forget about the thirteen doctors thing.

Theory: As the Time Lords are now extinct, apart from the Doctor, maybe he has somehow "inherited" the remaining regenerations of his race? It is a possibility, what with the Master being able to steal them of other Time Lords.

Also, is David Tennant the 10th and 11th Doctor? In the old series, it was commonly mentioned that Time Lords had 13 lives, but it was only mentioned a couple of times that they can regenerate 12 times. The only way to find out is to be told if Tennant's regeneration in The Stolen Earth counted as one or not

Sorry, Tennant's Doctor channeled some of the energy into the jar with his hand in. So, until December, we're still on number 10.

I just think there's too much fanboy in him to stop. But it would be sensible for him to leave soon because he has now become one of the biggest stars in Great Britain (and Great France and Great Germany! - die Mr Copper! - (zap!)). no it wont this will be only david tennants theme tune for doctor who series 4 this theme was supposed to be used for only this series and the 2008 chrismas special about the cybermen and then this theme will also be used in the 2009 specials with david tennant but when series 5 comes in 2010 there will be a new theme and robert carlyle would make a shitty doctor tennant &davison are the best doctor whos ever

If you listen closely there are little nods to the Peter Howell and Dominic Glynn versions. Listen for the chord accent after the first phrase and the repeated phrase in the 'chorus'
