  • Cream the band that originated long improvised jamming.

  • Imo Cream is the best jamming live band i ever heard, todays rock bands whould shit in their pants, if they heard this performance.

  • This is the best Live Cream song ever. I've known that since I was 16 when I was running wild with this on my Walkman constantly. I owe Cream so much.

  • wow creams live albums are really underrated, like i mean the jams are long as hell so theyre hard to get into at first, but fuck this is awesome.

  • I agree 100 %, have you heard the bootleg " Live at the grande Ballroom", it´s simply out of this world.

    Cream rules !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why doesn't rock music sound like this now? It seems bands are happy to make the same album year after year and treat it like an ongoing career.

Bring back the days when a group would release 2 or 3 awesome records then split up - for good.

  • i read somewhere that said ginger baker was a complete asshole. still amazing at drums though

  • Eric Clapton is arguably one of the greatest talents ever but if anyone knows a drummer who played with such a unique style as Ginger Baker, let me know.

  • This creative improvisational interactive musical magic will never happen again.Their free-form style taught me to listen, contribute

and be sensitve to the whole balance of whats in the moment.

Playing on the edge was their high.Every night was a new adventure! Beautiful!

  • I agree with you: rock music will NEVER sound like this again. There is no real forum for bands to take chances; taking chances is almost discouraged. They did listen to each other amazingly well. A lot like free-jazz, where they focus on the wavelength of the whole.

  • To find diamonds one must dig through tons of rock.

  • Indeed... that's a good one to use to define rock music - the

searching for the diamonds within the rock.

  • But the long solos didn't come until much later.

  • Yeah, it gets addictive playing them, and a good part of the audience will enjoy it. I like what Clapton said about it where once he stopped playing and the other two didn't notice. Maybe he took that as a sign it was over...

  • Superb

  • Great version!
