Bloody fantastic! For all you aspiring musicians out there, pay attention...There is still a lot of us old dogs around who can still put on a hell of a show, despite the fact that the words "great-grandfather" may fit!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR THIS ! We here in the U.S. would love to have seen them here..did catch Ian in Detroit a couple of years ago, was something I will never forget ...everyone in the audience was spellbound ... LONG LIVE MOTT
Old they may look, and buffin is poorly, but my god did they rock. i was there that night and it was the best gig I've been to ever. Emotion, power and a band that ferlt like it had never been away. There's no-one to touch them
Yes you can rock and roll into your 60's and even 70's - it's all right - I respect these guys I listened to in the 1970's still producing the same sound - you can go home again
Excellent vid. How much of the show did you get? Over at a popular torrent tracker that has the word dime in it several tapers posted the Led Zeppelin reunion in 07. Someone then took all the different angles and edited them into a multi camera presentation. It would be cool to see something like that shared... or at least your excellent source.
You're quite a bitter man with a serious case of "last-word-itis" and I believe I've had just enough of your crap. You will now be blocked. Go find other people to annoy, ya bastard!
What part of what I wrote below is you NOT saying I was blocking your view? Sheesh...
I get that you don't enjoy having your view blocked by cameras, but you specifically pointed me out when you fired the first salvo. And I never, ever block anyone's view except my own.
My camera was held 6 inches in front of my mouth the entire time to let me see the show and monitor the shoot at the same time, so there was NO way my camera was blocking your view. I never once held it up high or out to the side. So, either you were standing behind someone else or you could somehow see through my head. Furthermore, if you're so against people recording show vids for YouTube, why are you trolling for them here? Fuckin' hypocrite, you are...
I was one of the luck few who was there Saturday night, also all the way from America. Screamed my head off. As everyone said already, truly one of the most magical events ever. Thank you Mott The Hoople for being one of the greatest bands ever and for doing this reunion show. I will remember that night always.
Great post!! Six of us fans were there from Texas on night one. If it is possible this night two performance might have been an even better version than night one (no offense to Joe Elliott)
Great job catching one of the major highlights of the concert. I was there opening night for the lovefest and had to fly back to the USA the next day but i will treasure all my life this most special group and event. Thank you Mott the Hoople for doing whatever it took to pull this off. Every UK review has been glowing, just like the hearts of their fans.
I'm just soooo happy that Overend, Buff and Phally finally got back up there, Seeing the king of bass players clearly having the time of his life here has made my week!
Used to watch Buffin and Overend rehearsing in our school hall when we were 16 and then Martin was drummer in our own first band, that must have been when we passed our "dude" grade...lol
a great clip and finally we see them in a row and even Verden facing the audience with that organ position and Overend actually looks like a real dude. Buffin, Overend and Martin, three Ross-on-Wye dudes...love it...I watch this from Holland and it brings a tear to my eye...
Thanks so much for this! Great view.. Buffin looked much better than the day before. Bet those of you that saw this are grinnin ear to ear! Mott. The real deal in an age of drum loops and meaningless words..
Great videos "ofifoto! Thanks for posting. I wish I had been there. Did they record these shows for an album or DVD? I would buy it.

Jesus, I was 12 at that time and had hair on my head.
This was a song when dancing to come a little nearer to the girls.
To me as a German this is England/British at their best!!!!! No one writes songs this way anymore. Drops of Jupiter reminded me a bit of that sound.

OK, fine, let's work with THIS part:
"I don't pay my hard earned to look at someone elses camera in me way"
Or maybe THIS part:
"...silly bastards like me pay money to watch it live and can't see the fookin stage because of some halfwit holding up his fookin camera"
Which all started with THIS part:
"I was stood right behind you whilst you recorded thsi"
Sure sounds like you said it, alright. So stop acting like a petulant child...
