Bill Gates is a prime example: He went to Harvard for LAW not Computers! He flunked out, but that doesn't matter cause his passion was computers- mainly software programming- much of what he did was already invented- he was just smart enough to put in all together and package it in a profitable way. Did you propose this specific question b'c it's an issue your dealing with right now? Like a: What am I gonna do after High School question?
No, I am a sophomore in College...well til last week when I had to drop out for lack of proper funding after all. But at first I made this video out of sheer curiosity to what people would say, and not to answer a personal question about my life. :)
Well, I'm glad your past the first hump- after Freshmen Year most Students drop out! If it's a matter of funds-May I suggest: You use your notoriety and experience with VBlogs for profit. Why not do a blog about your college exp or Singing (anything really) & then sell the ad space to google or whom ever may be right for advertising on the blog? Huh? Huh? You can make money while you sleep- Amazon has plenty of books on this subject (or check w/ your library). I got faith in ya,Kiddo! Good Luck!
Well Kiddo, it's been a week. Have you given any thought to making your vblog and sites profitable? I've been checking out a series about 'google adsense' by lisa3876 - she seems straight forward, knowledgeable, and most importantly helpful! Either way I wish you the best of luck and....(I just can't resist)....... OH,SWEET CAROLINE..bum bum bum.. good times never seemed so good (so good - so good)... I've been inclined..bum bum bum..to believe it never would.... (am I embarrasing you yet?) ;)
I thought of a way to make my vlogs more interesting...or at least make them have a sense of structure. I have a list of 100 classic books that I haven't read yet, and as soon as I get settled I want to go through one a week and then talk about it. Kinda like an online book club. It's not THAT interesting...but it's a start. Got any better ideas?
Hmmmm.... I DO like the idea- I think your on the right track...but... I think you need to step it up a bit. Kinda like that movie where the women does the blog to Julia Child's cookbook. You should document how the books change/or don't change your outlook on life. (or if they have any relevance to today's society) Something like that. Get in contact with a PR rep of a bookstore. Tell them your idea. See what they can do for you if you send viewers their way (via ads) to buy the books.
I thought about it some more....what if you did a video version of Cliff Notes (of 100 Classic books)? Most people who use C. Notes usually struggle with reading, and some don't even bother with the notes. So with Video Notes I'm sure you could get a lot of advertising traffic WHILE incorporating your desire to read Classics. The cool chick on campus who helped me with my book report- (That could be YOU!) You'll be a hero to Millions. Go Nanooks, Go Nanooks, Go Nanooks! It's your Birthday.....
The short answer to your question is NO, but the long answer is Yes. Why, b'c success in life is all about risks and opportunity. When you recieve higher learning you are giving yourself a competitive edge over your peers. This ALLOWS, but does not GUARANTEE more opportunites for success in life. HOWEVER- there are those whom are simply blessed and only require a min amount education to acheive what they want. I'll continue this answer but first...I can't help to laugh cuz you got cute dimples
Actually, voice rest makes my voice sound much better than if I kept it active. Too much talking and singing stresses the vocal chords, creating little callouses which eventually turn into nodules that need to be removed surgically, making it so that I can never sing again.
Believe me, I'm a Vocal Performance Major. Sometimes I mess up my voice, but I know how to fix it. Keeping the voice active may work for people who don't use their voices as an instrument. :)

I think if you want a comfortable job now you need to go to college, but a well-paying job and successs don't mean the same thing.

lol, no voice, no phil !
I dont think you need a high education to succeed in life, youtube itself is an example !
It was made by 2 students, they sold youtube for millions of dollars to google(i think) so I don't think they care for school after that !?!
