NO SIDE: Shinners, Ganley, Socialists, Coir, Eirigi, UKIP, Le Pen, BNP.
YES SIDE: all international chambers of commerce, most independent economists, 3 main political parties, IFA, IBEC, SIPTU, ICTU, most major trade unions, Pfizer, Ryanair, Intel, Microsoft.
I have respect for anyone who speaks the truth, no matter if it ruffles the feathers of the political class in this country. For to long now, the political class have stepped upon anyone who got in there way. Just look at all the under hands which were exposed when our so called Taoiseach Mr Ahern had to resign from office, and an even bigger (excuse the pun) waster has no taken the helm... come on people use your heads this June 5th....
Check your facts...Mr. Ganley's company has interests in Bulgaria, Russia, France.....throwing out a label "US" does a great diservice to the art of debate. If an EU with self interest ministers(unelected) is your model then vote that way...just be an informed voter
I cannot stand this political cronyism which exists within Ireland, and has done for a lone time. Its rife within the civil service and public service especially at board level. Just look around at all the public agencies, and take a minute to identify who sits on all these boards, it really makes interesting reading.
I think ITs TIME to make that change, ITs TIME to bring transparency in to democracy, and above all ITs TIME to put people at the hart of Europe.
Just a quick response to boosra and his earlier post:
Would you rather fumble on, election after election with the same political parties getting elected just because of a tradition, which exists within families of voters in ireland i.e Finna Fails Seamus Brennan's son Shay Brennan, also an employee of Anglo Irish Bank, and we all know what happened to that bank.
So we are still waiting for the courier pigeon. Very funny. He is very good. The European Obama.
I am betting all my hopes for a better, transparent and stronger Europe and of course Corfu and Greece on you. And I am certain the day after the election I will hit the jackpot. As long as you don't forget us, the little people. We don't want much. Just a little more control and few checks every so often. That's all. And we want our representatives from Brussels to visit us once in a blue moon.
Thank you all for your comments and your support. Libertas is about you, the PEOPLE of Europe. Libertas will never forget that because our candidates are not all career politicians, they are real people with new ideas who want to represent you, not themselves.
A vote for Libertas is a vote for change, it's a vote for a real democratic EU.
Millions of Europeans despise the enslavement document known as the Lisbon Treaty as the EU Dictators well know.
They are afraid as well they should be especially with President Klaus fighting tooth and nail against ratification.
As for many Irish people changing a No vote to a YES vote, I think it unlikely as they above any nation will not wish to be DICTATED to by the WAR CRIMINAL BLAIR who will be President should ratification take place.
In reply to dubbish9, I find it amazing that u only signed up to give that comment. It is typical of the comments anti-corruption Independent candidates like myself get. FF should be afraid of the public. True Fianna Fail people have left the party and will not vote for the current FF candidates. In relation to the Standard in Public Office, they are run by Government and will not even investigate the planning CORRUPTION, extortion and intimidation in Donegal County Council & Bundoran.
What is amusing is that this guy who has repeatedly ignored requests to clarify his party's funding in Ireland (missing deadlines set by the Standards in Public Office, standards set by the Referendum Commission, etc) accuses anyone else of 'playing games behind closed doors'.
Ganley wants us all to vote for an EU president by universal suffrage yet he claims to have the best interests of his constitutents in NW ireland at heart? Please...
Thank you Dubbish9, good politics is transparent! Good politics is honest! So why should we give someone our support who wont or is afraid to clarify the sources of his parties funding??? We need accountability in Ireland, we are now currently suffering as a result of a particular parties unaccountability!!! So why make another mistake by voting Libertas? Replies are indeed most welcome!!!
Good luck Libertas! The corrupted bureucrats are AFRAID of us! That's just another reason, why we should not give up, even for one minute, because each minute should be worse for our oppononents, not for us, and by each minute the vision of a powerful and cooperative but not totalitarian European Union must be more and more realistic!
This is the only chance for a truly United EU & legitimizing Brussels, its amazing that Brussels requires us all to follow their rules, but they do not even follow their own laws or deadlines. So much for our 'so called leaders' leading by Example!! At this point its imperative for a true Democracy to be set up prior to our own specific concerns of issues being paralleled to that of any candidates, WHY? Because without democracy our concerns will mean nothing to BRUSSELS!!

I also find it rather amusing that dubbish9 only signed up to remark on this video.
