What a marvelous reminiscence. My piano teacher at Capitol University, Loy Kohler, was a regular soloist with CSO, and with his encouragement I won one of the high school concerto contests and performed with Whallon. I ushered CSO concerts for several seasons and got to see (free) Rubinstein, Milstein, Arrau, and many other world class artists.
What a nice video; I had not seen this promo before. And it is nice to see Mr. Whallon "at the helm"; I always enjoyed his conducting and the FREE concerts which the orchestra performed throughout the community. I guess those days are "gone with the wind".
How cool to see this, especially in light of all their difficulties this past few years. I remember those days when they'd come to the schools. Long live the CSO!

Hi Cass 2540
Yes, those days are gone but not forgotten.
Kind of like Camelot .
Thanks for the nice comment about my father.

Hello CSO,
How nice of you to post this.
It's great to see Dad at the helm of the CSO again.
Those were really good times.
Thanks
