Sabbath and Maiden are NOT heavy metal either. Those are Rock N' Roll. You want Heavy Metal try Opeth, Soulfly, Pantera(don't like them, but they're heavy) etc.
Good day to all of my fellow Christians, firstly my apology for being out of topic. I came here to remind you people that the judgment day has started already. Please depart from cursing, smoking, violent entertainment, fornication, occultism, and for watching pornography etc. lest you be found not worthy to enter the kingdom of God in the Day of Execution. Thank you for your kind consideration.
Bullet for my valentine is heavy metal? rofl... They are just a stupid emo gay band. Heavy metal is stuff like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest....
@Viriatus black sabbath and Judas priest are not heavy metal.... Clearly your a big hair 80's fanatic. Black Sabbath metal?? name one god damn song... Old school black sabbath sounds nothing like todays "considered" heavy metal. Smoke another one...
This video is old. I remember seeing it on MTV back around 94 or 95, and it just stuck with me, I never heard of Fluke again until around 97 when atom bomb came out.
In general, this falls under just plain electronica(bands incoperating digital instruments and recording such as synthesizers, samplers, computers, pro-tools, ect.....). However, it does have elements of progressive house & big beat(which isn't really produced anymore). But in general it cant really be classified in any of the dance genres bc the sound it unique to the artist themselves.
Starts off in Leicester Square, that's the tube station they run through. Later on there's what looks like old Paddington or Pancreas station, the Holborn Underpass, then the blackwall tunnel headed southbound ;)
The 90's - peak of house music. I've always personally believed that club music goes around in circles; rebellion one side, commercialism/glam the other.
Just look at the way it's evolved;
1930's ballroom dancing (Glam and Smart)....
1950's rock'n'roll (Rebellion against above)
1970's Disco (Glame and commercialised)
1980's Raving (Rebellion against above)
Mid 90's >>> Now (Spoilt brats drowing themselves in shots in flashy, over-priced clubs.)
i think with any genre the music starts off as a rebellion agianst something and eventually gets adopted by the masses and becomes a vehicle for corporations to make money, thus the dillution of a sound until it becomes "glam" and commercialized.
Fucking amazing, even now. Those were the days, everything fresh and new. Every single day in the 90's was an event. Musically every genre was at it's peak. Fluke were one of my favorite artists among Leftfield, The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Cold Storage, Future Sound Of London...The WipeOut-era...

I like how they imitated the look of the opening credits for Bullitt. The slide and zoom text is one of my favorite movie intros.

@rickzters Very similar to Underworld, but I'd argue that Fluke got a following slightly before Underworld did, even if only by a few months.
