In my opinion, it doesn't seem to have enough action for me, or have any problems to solve. It looks to me like a long interactive cut-scene. I'd like to see more gameplay so that I know I can at least get involved in the story if it is a good one.

This game is bad ass! And I think that Ozzi really helped me to see that. If you are not in to story drivin games (like my dad) and just like shoot them up, then don't buy it because you will go on a rant because you hatted. For me it was a breath of fresh air to see a story that wasn't corrupted. And to actually see how a T.V. show game without any roots on actual telivision would turn out. I love you Remedy!

This game really isn't as great as everyone claims. Other than storytelling and special effects this game has very little originality. Take Obscure/Alone in the Dark combat mechanics, mix it with watered down Resident Evil 4 AI, toss in a pg13 Silent Hill story and setting... you have Alan Wake.

What it boils down to is this- Do you like pg13 horror films? If so you will love Alan Wake. If they leave you unfulfilled rent this short game with no replay value instead of buying.

This is a Remedy game written by Sam Lake. That means it will be fantastic.

Alan Wake wont feature zombies. They are aiming for the pshycological thrill. The enemies wont appear like in this video. They just had to put a lot of action in it because it's E3. AITD has nothing to stand up with against Alan Wake.
