@CTUKeyes I'd have to disagree with you! I think every Final Fantasy released is awesome! They're all unique, and all have their good and bad points, but still, what other games out there apart from FF and zelda can you play for hours on end and not get bored? :)
@strifey07 ya but as the final fantasy games have progressed theyve lost a lot. The ability to do what you wanted with tons of great minigames and sidequests and extras. These are the reasons 10 and 13 weren't any fun for me.
@CTUKeyes 13 has a fair few side quests, but they don't really last as long as any other FF, I know 10 had quite a lot of side-quests if you looked in the right places, things like hunts, hidden bosses, summons stuff like that. I currently own FFX-2, FF12, 4 and 5 and both kingdom hearts, i'm switching between them all, playing them through again, plus hoping to regain all the other FF games too, complete my collection! :) My opinion is just they're all awesome
Yep definatly everytime I have brought one since I have expected so much but it will never come close to this. FF8 was a let down, FF9 was ok, 10 and 10-2 where not too bad. Did not play the other 2, im just hoping 13 is the one.
I actually really enjoyed 8 and 9...I hated 10 and 10-2. never played 11 and 12 was a HUGE load of crap. Like you said though...hopefully 13 will return the series to it's former glory : P
No you got me wrong to be honest I think 9 was the best one since 7, from what i remember it was great to play but after I had finished it I wasnt playing it again and again trying to find everything like in 7. On the subject of 11 my mate had it and he said it was the biggest load of crap going so i wouldnt ever bother checking it out.
hope so now iv got a PS3, I think they need to get the magic right to make a successful game because that is one of the main problems with the FF's after 7 it was far to confusing and annoying. materia was perfect.
@FrumBeermingum completely disagree. i disliked 10. 6 was awesome. 6,7,8, and 9 are the best. also 13 aint half bad

I find it very odd that I can record Rome Total War mostly without lag but FF7 lags when I am recording...
