the dices are used as a counterwieght, so u can throw the strings to the opposite side of the yo yo and other stuff....basically its used for more advanced tricks

Honestly, I'd get an FHZ if you're starting out, great yo-yo, perfect for 1A, 4A and 5A.

Be careful if you use it for 4A though. The hard plastic is kinda loud if you miss a toss.

Move on to some Intermediate YYJ yo-yos afterwards, I use my Lyn Fury for 3A, and a Kickside as my main 5A yo-yo. The pricier metal rimmed yo-yo's are good, but you can make a Lyn Fury preform like a Dark Magic or Hitman with some work, saving you some money.

Duncan's still really good though. Metal Zero is <3

butterfly/ wing yo yos are for string tricks, and they do have them. Takeshi mods, Flying Pandas, if you want to go really big get a Duncan Samurai. Those are all butterfly shaped.

No. Andre plays for YoYo Jam.

The speedbeatle is great for looping yoyo tricks, but for string tricks (like in my videos) a freehand 2 or freehand zero is fantastic. Dont forget to purchase extra strings and friction stickers with your yoyo and before you will be doing tricks. Duncan yoyos are also fantastic for modifying. I play a modified freehand zero in one of my video, but mods arent needed to perform those tricks.
