Abyssion is the hardest boss in the game and theres certain things u have to find before u fight him If u start lukin around towns late in game and see anythin diff around those towns like NPCS that u usually dun see before, then u can talk to them and events will occcur that can get u those costumes. U find a guy that luks like that evil guy at 0:10 in Flanior late in game and talk to him.

I've gotten more than 10 Grade from a battle. IIRC, I've gotten up to 15 or 20, though that might be from the Extra Grade bonus. I guess standard Grade levels max out at 10. Sounds about right.

Love how, near the end of the game, you're so strong you can one-shot little critters easily. Go back to Iselia and just kill random things in under 5s; so much Grade! (Unless you get hit by the enemy.) Anyone know a better Grade-farming trick?

@alexxb115 You have to use Judgement and Holy Song at least 50 times each.

This is the easy way: Usually when you use Holy Song, a "Target" appears above one of your party members' heads (to buff them). If you use Holy Song and you DON'T see "Target", you know for sure she's about to do Holy Judgement (attack AND buff). You can cast, check the spell, and use the guard-to-cancel trick if she is casting normal Holy Song. Usually you'll get it after a few tries. Maybe extra Luck would help too.

I've beat abyssion with presea, raine, regal, and lloyd on level 69-70 on hard mode... It took a VERY long time. I was actually surprised i beat him only one time. O__o. It was really fun though. And what surprised me the most was that when I ran out of lite bottles, I still manage to keep everyone alive after that. :D!

I've always used this party, but with kratos instead of colette; if you give kratos the concentrate, aerial spell, and landing compound ex-skills, he can become incredibly powerful. Lloyd may beat kratos in raw strength, but he really doesn't get any good compound ex skills

@blitzforthewin Not true. Lloyd gets one awesome compund ex-skill: Sky Attack (Ability Plus+Sky Combo) making him able to techs in midair, like Tempest and Rising Falcon. It may not be as amazing as Aerial Spell or Super Blast, but I always love doing Demon Fang-Tiger Blade-Sword Rain Alpha-Rising Falcon.

@blitzforthewin The same could be applied for Psi/Omega Tempest as well. Not only can they be used in midair (which makes their range that much better) but they can now link into Rising Falcon too. Rising Falcon is just oh, so much better with Sky Attack, being able to rid oneself of its jump-lag and being able to link techs in midair, which rids SRA of its vulnerable end position (without having to use it 200 times)

@DracoFlame67 Yeah, Psi tempest could probably bring you clear from one side of the screen to the other. Although, SWA isn't that bad for linking, you can cancel it before the jump by linking it to raining tiger blade of beast sword rain, that's generally been my combo. I'm wondering if rising falcon would be better, you could equip a garnet to make it rising phoenix and up its damage by 1.5x, and it doesn't take as long as raining tiger blade, so you get more damage per second

@shinlilong sidequests are never locked. besides, if you start getting devil arms after your imprisoned in welgaia, you've got to go back to get the devil's arms after you get the material blades. the cursed book has to be done after you get them anyway. don't forget the summon spirit of molecules, maxwell can only be done after you get them as well. also, the 3rd sword dancer can be done after you get them. in otherwords, more sidequests open up, not less.
