milk alone wouldnt help much anyways, it does have casein which breaks down the capsaicin in it (i love peppers for the endorphin rush, its addicting) but I use sugar, i dont know why honestly but if the pain gets to me I take a spoonful of it and roll it around on your tongue and where the pain is most, followed by yogurt =) but any dairy really with casein works. I just like yogurt cuz its not liquid like milk and you can get your lips and tongue nice and soothed lol.

That way, you just shovel w a fork. Otherwise, biting into it on the bone gets it everywhere. Adam did another similar chal. where he didn't remove the meat from the bone first & he wound up massaging his face w ice. I think he learned from that ep. There's a reason cooks wear gloves AND masks when handling this stuff.

Just to continue--the reason why they extracted it from Habenero, rather than Ghost Chille is probably just because Habs are easier to grow and easier to find. In the end, the type of pepper really doesn't matter--You're going to destroy the pepper to extract the chemical (Which again, is the same through all peppers).

Fun fact, small amounts of pure capsaicin are used in tobasco sauce, the pure stuff is so bad it can actually eat through the metal mixers--imagine what it does to your stomach!

That sauce is a purified capsaicin (Which is what makes peppers hot, it's no different between types of peppers except for quantity).
