I think when comparing John and Hank's journals, we must keep in mind that Hank says he wrote the journal in highschool, whereas John's was in middle school.

don't worry about your journals- I write a diary and looking back at some of the stuff abotu 3 years ago when I was 9 or 10 is weird- I was excited about everything; "Oh my God, I am soooooooo(x3) excited!!!!" I would put in several lines of 'o's and '!'s, and it's painful to look back at XD

I love this video, but it terrifies me because I'm afraid of how ridiculus I must be because I still am that age. Like, I could be that nuts and still be thinking that I'm just fine.
The boxes may represent the different emotions of your life and how you would like to organize your feeling by filing them away into neat little boxes. When in reality your emotions were jumbled across your life in a difficult to deal with manner. The boxes were a way of validating your confused feelings.
-Or maybe that's just what a crazy psychologist would say, when all you were really trying to do was express your love for convenient places to store things.
Reading old journals is the best. I also find myself loving/hating the person who wrote down my life years ago...it's a good learning experience. Entertaining too!!
The inaugaration was AWESOME!!! Cold because we were in Washington and tiring because I had to wake up early (4:00 in the morning) to get there on time (subways on important days, SUCK!!) but it was still amazing. I probably only heard about three words of the speech(I watched it at the hotel later) but it was one of the most memorable moments of my life. You could feel the hope and the joy of the people around you. Its what I imagine a nerdfighter event to be like actually.

That's not just any drawing of any organic compound, that's the first step of glycolysis (the first step in cellular respiration, and certainly the quickest. It took me a few minutes as to why there was a phosphate on that glucose molecule, then I saw the ATP going into it. Then I remembered my biochemistry classes.
The Krebs/Citric Acid/Tricarboxcylic Acid Cycle (all the same thing) comes later and does not involve any molecule with six carbons, Hank.

I've always liked the idea of keeping a journal and going back and reading it years later to find out what myself and my life was like then, even if it was embarassing, but my handwriting is pretty bad for someone my age

And i generally find the Greens smart. so this is very confusing to me.

The boxes may represent the different emotions of your life and how you would like to organize your feeling by filing them away into neat little boxes. When in reality your emotions were jumbled across your life in a difficult to deal with manner. The boxes were a way of validating your confused feelings.

The inaugaration was AWESOME!!! Cold because we were in Washington and tiring because I had to wake up early (4:00 in the morning) to get there on time (subways on important days, SUCK!!) but it was still amazing. I probably only heard about three words of the speech(I watched it at the hotel later) but it was one of the most memorable moments of my life. You could feel the hope and the joy of the people around you. Its what I imagine a nerdfighter event to be like actually.

This just makes me wish I'd started keeping a journal regularly a lot sooner. The half dozen entries I did write during high school are absolutely horrid though. I did have essentially the same reaction to what I was thinking as you. Seems pretty normal. BTW Hank, have I mentioned how much ass you guys kick?

That's not just any drawing of any organic compound, that's the first step of glycolysis (the first step in cellular respiration, and certainly the quickest. It took me a few minutes as to why there was a phosphate on that glucose molecule, then I saw the ATP going into it. Then I remembered my biochemistry classes.
The Krebs/Citric Acid/Tricarboxcylic Acid Cycle (all the same thing) comes later and does not involve any molecule with six carbons, Hank.
