It was a chapter meeting of a hypnosis org. Most there haddn't seen a "Street Style Hypnosis Show" b4. Most seemed pretty amazed.

So yes, the mind can inderstand/hear what is brinmg said, like some child's game, and respond in kind.

To add to what John said the sub-conscious mind can keep up even if the conscious one can't when talking fast. Also, I think of the old written test where the words are scrambled but as long as the first and last letter was in place you can read the word :).

Part of what I had been saying is you don't actually have to speak regular words clearly, just enough for the mind to grasp.
