I need to know, because my son's Graduation is coming up and we're trying to plan a week or so of 'vacation' time to see him on family day and go to his graduation. PS: That's so sad that some families can't come. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to, but have decided that if I have to WALK to California, by God, I'm going!! I went to MCRD San Diego on October 10, 1992 and spent the next four years in. It will the best expirence of your life. My advice to you is just listen to what the DI says and know that your not alone there will be 90 other recruits next to you trying to accomplist the same thing thats to graduate. Be a team player and stay positive and take one day at a time. Study the ranks of officers and enlisted as well. If you play call of duty 5 like i do the ranks are all there. :). Jay.
