  • omg i forgot all about this!

  • i adore these two guys they made my childhood

  • I remember this, this was when they did the 2nd Season then eventually they joined that Junior Police Patrol and got Cru-Cuts.

  • YOU'RE AN UNCLE?!?!??!

  • @TaTgurl1003 If only Paul knew at this time that Bulk also be an uncle

  • @TKnHappyNess yeah, if only. I find that line hilarous

  • This is one of the past message from the show

  • if he turned into bulk, i'd party with him.

  • Jason Narvy got a PhD in acting. So awesome.

  • at 0:06 he looks like Tommy.

  • Now he's an uncle to Skull's son.

  • I do remember all of those Power Ranger Messages, course I was only 8 to 9 Years old, but recognizing the examples they tried to set in spite of the action and somewhat violence displayed in the show itself which never set Me off as a kid to the wrong side of much.

  • Nobody's going to comment on the fact that, despite being a PSA priding itself on reality versus fiction, Paul Schrier has no siblings, and his "niece" is just an actress?

  • "You're an uncle?!?!"

What kind of question is that? "You're a dad?" "You're a cop?!" I would understand but uncle? Really? You don't have to do anything to be an uncle/aunt xD

  • What year was this?

  • Bulk and Skull might have been bumbling assholes when they first started out in MMPR, but Paul Schrier and Jason Narvy are said to be some of the funniest, nicest wise people you'd ever meet.

Hell, Jason Narvy (Skull) is now a Doctor at a university!

  • Nice message but should used actor who plays one of bad guys and have him be hanging with one actor power Rangers

  • can't believe how much they aged.

  • @DragoDillPepper Not a day. They look the same to me lol. Its been 15 years dude Paul is 42 or something and he looks like he's 30 lol so give em' some credit they're youthful fellas

  • @ProphetsOfAshes

Paul is 40 xD. He is going to be 41 in June xD. And most of the staff has aged so well, specially the actor who made the role of Zack, and Amy Jo Jhonson (Pink Ranger). You can see in Flashpoint that this actress has aged well xD

  • This is actually a good PSA as there are still idiots out there who can't differentiate a character from their actor.

  • ITS BULK!!!!!!!

  • "...Course I *am* the better actor."

    "No youre not."

    lool

  • oh i miss those two a lot.

  • It's sad we don't have PSA's like this anymore, the last one I remembered was on Static Shock and that was 6 years ago

  • This is awesome. Why the heck cant they do stuff like this anymore? i dont mean stupid corny actors and actresses going green with disney. dat just look so staged to me...

  • The only public announcement I saw back in the day.

  • As a kid, I thought this was so cool. Sure, I was like...10 at the time, but it was still cool to see what the actors were like out of character...though considering this was a PSA, I guess its in the eye of the beholder.

  • This made me laugh. I wonder why never showed clips like that over here in the uk

  • Now this PSA was good and pointful.

  • Messages like these are needed nowadays for children...especially for shows like hannah montana where at the end she should say " Hi im myley cyrus just because i act like a whining spoiled teenage skank brat who gets away with everything on tv doesnt mean that you should too" lol anyways I give it up for the original power rangers........mighty morphin was the best!!!!

  • BULK SMAAAASH!

  • IT'S BULK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111

  • lol it said a message from the "power rangers" not bulk and skull

  • Back in the day, these little lessons for kids were common in TV shows, but you don't see them so much these days!

They're kind of needed because there are some really stupid kids out there with little to no common sense!

  • the 90's > 2000's

  • @Bowmaj21 Why doesn't your comment have more than 30 thumbs up? D:

  • These were good times. Good times indeed. People don't do this kind of service anymore. Poor kids, they don't have service annoncments to tell them that they are only acting the parts, and their parents don't guide them as they should in what is real and what is not and how to handle it; instead calling for censorship, and banning of perfectly good shows and material.

  • lmao

  • This is awesome! They should do something like this again. In fact, can you imagine if Samuel Benta suddenly started talking cockney? The executives would be like"HEY PUT YOUR AMERICAN ACCENT ON NOW!"

  • that's effin Stupid. Operation Overdrive sucked anus

  • Uh why did I get a -1 for that? What possible problem could you have with that?

  • @TokenBlackguy and it's PSAs sucked. Even more than the PSAs on the Original Series

  • LMAO

  • forget drake and josh for real, this might be older but way better

  • no your not .. lol :)

  • Nice own from Bulk at the end.

  • I remember these. I think they did 3 or 4 of them. I remember this one and the one about the fight scenes being practiced and pre planned. It was like escodl said they did them so kids could understand that it wasn't real. In other words it was to get parents and child interest groups off their back.

My parents hated the show too for no real reason other then they thought it was stupid. That didn't stop me from watching it though.

  • Yeah that's the only reason anybody hates it. Spongebob Squarepants is hardly Shakespeare.

  • I remember this! Great memories from great times!

    A++++++++

Happy New Year! All the best in 2009 and beyond! Puerto Rican Love from New York City!

Have a great night and a great week!

  • This is a pretty good PSA

  • Best characters in the show, and got the most development too.

  • Yeah. UNLIKE the Rangers...

  • What a good message. Wished more people would've seen this. Then maybe there wouldn't have been so many Power Rangers-related deaths.

  • i think from 93-96 was the fighters era...you had Power Rangers and their clones VR Troopers and Samurai Syber Squad plus games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. You always had pro wrestling on tv and the early days of UFC......

To blame power rangers for kids beating the shit out of each other was stupid, a lot of things factored into it.

Different world now, sorta.....but damn those were the good old days way back when :-)

  • The biggest thing was of course the Ninja craze, that started out in the 80's and was marketed first of all for adults, slowly as the 90's arrived, the market started aiming lower to younger audiences.

It's easy for parents to blame entertainment when something bad happens, because then they don't have to blame themselves.

  • those were the better days than now

  • Forget Kenan and Kel, Drake and Josh etc

Bulk and Skull are the true Dynamic Duo

  • they made it so kids wouldn't reenact scenes in the show that could get them hurt or bully other kids thats why they told the kids its all make believe and that they are just actors.

  • um, what i dont understand if skull is showing hes actor, then why the hell is he still in costume loL!

  • Well, it seems a little toned down compared to the show. Maybe he really dresses like that.

  • Both of them did. I remember in an interview once, they said that by the second or third season, the costume director just gave them a wad of cash and told them to go buy whatever they wanted. These guys got into their characters really well though. Saw an interview from the PR convention a few years back, and it's like they never stopped.

  • I like these guys

really would like to meet them.

heard that they live together and repair arcade games or something

  • they're actors???? noooooooooooooooooooooo

  • Heh, I heard Paul and Jason are still best friends to this day like how Austin St. John and Walter Jones are still good friends to this day as well.

  • The real lesson here kids is that actors don't get angry when you spill shit on their shoes. Thank you Power Rangers!

  • why did paul and jason make this thing?

  • because people thought they were mean in real life.

  • God the part where Jason Narvy walks over is so cringe-worthy.

"The movie was lame so I thought I'd pick up some ice cream and join you guys"

    ???

Didn't he go with anyone? I wouldn't pay for a cinema ticket, leave before its done and buy three ice-creams. And does Jason normally meet unexpectedly with Paul and his niece with three ice creams at the park?

I don't know... they were the best characters on Power Rangers anyway.

  • "You're confusing me with my character on the Power Rangers."

Man, I can't begin to tell you how many times I've been confused with my character on the Power Rangers. Whew! It's good to know other people have that problem! ;P

  • "I'm an actor," sure you are

  • i'm not an actor, but i play one on TV >_>

  • lol!

  • MY MIND!

  • Very cool. I wish reality tv shows had that same disclaimer.

  • This was great. I happen to have a friend that actually EMAILED Paulie Schrier and Jason Narvy.

  • That's the funniest thing i've ever seen in my entire life!!!

    xD

    so many memories

  • "YEAAH GET HIM BULK :D"

  • Don't break kayfabe!!!!

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Oh man. The Narv. What a clown.

  • why did they have to go and say that? skull was my first love!

  • thats nice

  • haha nice

  • Haha, I remember this.

  • I love these guys. From a recent podcast, Jason Narvy is studying to get his doctrate in acting + Paul Schrier is busy directing or so they say :P

  • ...then Paul went on to play Teknoman Saber...and Skull became Combat Chopper...lol

  • i love jason and paul, um i mean bulk and skull.

  • these guys were great. they were in more episodes than the power rangers themselves

  • that's a true fact
