He sings with a very thick gypsy accent, and continues the song probably in gypsy language.

The name you wrote is actually a phonetical translation. Like in English you say Bela Bartok, when actually his name is Bartók Béla. Doesn't matter anyway :).

Furthermore, he left at a very young age and has a mixed accent with extremely little Ukrainian influence (there is far more Russian). His public accent is exaggerated, but he does have a slight accent while speaking. I know several of his cousins and have seen him live several times.
