I do the same thing. In songs like Everlong and Dammit, where your arm is just going the WHOLE time, it's pretty hard to make it through without using the fills for relaxing time.

A trick for playing this song without your arm getting tired easily is holding the stick in your right hand more towards the middle and the stick in your left hand where you prefer. (I personally leave it towards the edge) That way you're pretty much only using your wrists so it hurts alot less cause you're not having a muscle spazzm in your right arm lol. (vice versa for lefties obviously)
