It wasn't that bad... It's like an animated version of the old Superman movies with Reeve/Hackman/Kidder... The characters are a bit cheesy but the damn fight between Superman and Brainiac is damn awesome...

I may have only seen clips of this movie, but Lex and Brainiac were just done terribly.

Lex Luthor has become a cheesy 60s villain, and is voiced by Gorilla Grodd (not as cool as that sounds!)

As for Brainiac ... well, his voice is OK, but he's become a generic villain and shows emotions ... even though he's a COMPUTER and not supposed to have them!

just watched this,seems the only thing they did was use Bruce timms animation style. This was totally aimed at kids i think. bruce timm and crew have a much more adult feel to there projects. if you look at it as a stand alone movie away from the rest.it's ooookay, but if you compair it to the animated series it's trash.

I enjoy the whole "Brainiac" idea but I HATE it when they use new voices for the characters. It's one reason I didn't like superman doomsday but LIKED superman/batman public enemies.

movies like this hurt Superman as a character, movies like this is the reason people look down to him lately. which he doesnt deserve! want a good Superman series? watch Superman the animated series, its the most respectful version of the last 10 years.

I bought this one and it was horrible, i was hoping since it was done in the same animation as the original superman the animated series that it would be similar in quality..... boy was I wrong.

This film sucked. Except for just a couple of interesting things like Warner Bros. to do an animated Superman movie like they did Batman, with Sub Zero and Batwoman, including the exact animation as seen in the series. And for getting the old cast to reprise their roles, except for Luthor and Braniac. Whom's vovie didn't even sound like the same guy or even robot like. How couldn't they get the old actors to reprise their roles of the two character?
