Im sick and tired of these manufacturers who call their drives 100GB or 500GB or 1TB when its never even close to that. The 3TB shown in this video is close to 10% lower than its Windows reported size. 3TB comes in at 3,298,534,883,328 bytes. How much is a 300GB drive these days? Thats how much we are all getting ripped off, and its going to get worse as these drives get bigger!

What about if you solely use it as a storage drive? will it work on any mobo and do you need the adapter card? Also is WD working on making it more compatible? Being first means nothing if it isn't compatible with the masses!

I can't see why anyone would want to use a 3TB as a boot drive anyway, maybe those who really aren't into computers, but I don't think they would even need a 3TB in the first place.

Why bother with tweaking in order to boot from this thing?! WHY boot from a 5400rpm drive? I'm sorry, but that's stupid. Just by a fast boot drive, whether it's a fast HDD like a Caviar Black or any SSD, and stickly use the drive as a storage drive.

@paulcantiller There is a Paging file under Windows OS's or a Swap file for Linux, but it's not nearly as fast as true RAM (memory). Think of 100MB's Virtual as opposed to 1600MB's DDR3 RAM. Glad someone understands the difference too, always nice to hear lol

@ClutchSins well, ddr ram can move files faster than normal memory, so it do doubt that it be better than virtual, but it's just nice to have. lol. yeah, i know my computer stuff. :)
