  • How long lasting voice Melchior had!!!, imagine that some singers at 71 years old, are all wastedup!!!...he sounds great!!!..well singing with that beauty of Shirley Jones, inspires anyone!!! BRAVI!!!!

  • This is from about 1961 which would make Melchior age 71. I say pretty impressive. Listen to his recordings from the late 1920's an 1930's to hear him in his prime. Of course, he could NEVER upstage Miss Jones in looks :)

  • Wow!!! did not knew she sang so well!!! Melchior for his side was one of the best of the best!!! He is a real "Heldentenor", not a baritone with high notes!!!.He is one of my tenor models as well as the "base of the building for heroic singing".Bravoooo!!!!
