I totaly agree with him. I'm a girl, and I'm not into that "huggin and kissing" stuf, but I dont see mens who hug and kiss as gays, before they admit that they are gay. There is a reason for why he is one of my fave actors :)) he is so awesome :)) by the way.. I love the way he said "oh my god" :D :D

@megncomedy It also says in the Bible that it is shameful for a woman to speak in church. I'm Gay AND a Christian. Everybody at my church knows and it's not a problem. Maybe you should find a more tolerant church. After all, our Lord seemed to think tolerance was pretty important. Stop judging people and get down to the Lord's work, young lady !

I so agree with him!! I was at a Scout Camp last week and it's soo common for me to say "I'm going to the bathroom, hey becky, wanna come?" So we'll go, you know? Two girls, no biggie. Then my guy friend Ben gets up and does the same thing, only asking his friend Dean. Suddenly, their gay and we all need to make fun of them, I mean like Wtf!!?!?!?!?

@MadOldPete Maybe fewer religous people, but only due to the population difference. percentage-wise it's probably about the same. Regardless of where religous people are though they need to keep their powdered noses out of other people's business. Athiests don't need saving and niether do homosexuals. I personally am not gay but I do have friends who are and I respect it.

@orliluvr1432 I really don't think that's true. in fact, I just looked it up. atheist percentage in Britain is 35 to 40 percent, whereas in America it's 5 to 10 percent. the Brits are just much less religious.

@MadOldPete haha that's still percentages. brit's population is way lower, do the math and figure out the ratios it will be approx. the same. All I'm saying is that British people brought christianity and catholicism with them over here, it became popular, people dramatisized it now Canadians and Americans have a large religous population and it drives me nuts when somebody freaks out because "that guy just hugged that guy"

I like him too. He's a really good actor and I've got respect for him for standing up to his believes. I agree with him but sadly it's a thing that can't be done that easily. @hijoDElaaSOMBRA Hmm.... I think you may be mistaken. How do you think we feel when we see our best friends who happen to be guys get shit and made fun of because they hugged? I know I feel terrible. I definately don't take for granted the fact that I can hug my friends without being called gay, or accused of being in a relationship with her. I completely understand this point. In the sense that this world is so judgmental and we need to learn to accept.

We live in the 21st century and everytime people are shocked because two men hug each other or give a man a kiss on the cheek I think:1st get a life and 2nd...there are wars out there,there's climate change and so many horrible things in the world and THIS is what upsets you???!!
